Let me explain why I give Oakland Primary Care 1 star. Yesterday(1÷8÷2016) I took my mom here for her appointment and she’s a fairly new patient. The first time I took my mom to her appointment the nurse that asked her questions about her health and cared for her was not very nice at all. She kind of had a attitude towards my mom why I don’t know because my mom is very sweet and extremely quiet. Fast forward to yesterday this time my mom had a different nurse and this nurse was no better than the first nurse. She also had an attitude towards my mom and when my mom told her things the nurse barely wanted to listen to what she was saying. Then came in the doctor… when she walked into the room she had a not so nice look on her face maybe she was having a bad day I don’t know but she was just like the nurses rude and had an attitude. I told my mom to please go back to her old doctor which is Dr. Nazario in Millington at Saint Francis Medical Partners. The whole staff their is extremely nice compared to the staff at Oakland Primary Care. We’re from Arlington but I will drive those extra miles to get her their to see Dr. Nazario because she will not be returning here.

Its unusual to be blessed with having a great Doctor in your Community, much less across the street, but that is what I have here in Oakland. The staff and Doctor/Doctors working out of Deanna Elsea’s Oakland Primary Care have been great for a number of years. Deanna herself has been very involved and given back to our Town in many ways, most recently with her being on the Board of Directors of the Oakland Chamber. She cares. Check them out if you haven’t already!

We had an appointment last week, and I have to say, they are the worst MD and staff. Very unprofessional.
