I had really great counselors here, and then not so good. I have heard good, bad and horror stories from here. Word of advice before going in to see give them a mini phone interview and see it if makes sense for you to see them.
People are being trained to be counselor, some people just are not meant to be counseling while other people are better at it.

I went here for a fairly brief stint of counseling a couple years back.
The sessions are with students who are ready to go out to the «real world» but must do a number of supervised hours of counseling first.
It’s sliding scale.
In some ways, new and inexperienced is good, some bad. My experience has been new-​still care, not jaded, actually want to help, but the lack of time leaves something to be desired.
