Doctor Chen is awesome. I first saw him for a shoulder issue that I developed after too much master’s swimming. Rather than take pain killers and rest, I was able to heal the issue and get back to living.
He’s also a fertility specialist if you’re looking for such services, especially for those advanced in years.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chen since 2000 and he’s amazing. I’ve been to many western doctors, whom couldn’t identify what was truly wrong and sent me away with pain killers instead. Dr. Chen was able to explain what was causing my symptoms and help alleviate the pain. If you’re not a believer in easter medicine, Dr Chen will make you a believer because it really works. If you’re suffering and in pain, and you can’t seem to figure out why and nothing has worked, and if you are looking to do anything to feel better then I would highly recommend acupuncture with Dr. Chen.
His Oakland office is office for a few hours only on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. He also has an office in San Francisco. Walk-​ins are welcome. I never had to wait.
I got a chest x-​ray and EKG and the western doctor told me there’s nothing wrong with me, but I knew something was not right. I went to Dr. Chen and he identify that I had a swollen spleen, thyroid, and a inflamed liver. Dr. Chen was able to figure out what was wrong by listening to my pulse.
I am thankful to have found a doctor who has been really honest about what was really wrong and what was causing my pains.
