The SF location had closed and I had always been going there because I was always so pleased with their flexibility and services. When I found out the only location was in Oakland I made the special trip just to go to this clinic and I had the best experience. Dr. Liang took the time to diagnose me and talk to me about my symptoms and then how to proceed with medication(turns out I have bronchitis and an infection, nothing too serious) he was very attentive, friendly, professional, and thorough. The prices were very affordable and reasonable for someone who doesn’t have health insurance. I strongly recommend this clinic if you ever want to get quickly checked out or for anything else! Thank you for treating me Dr. Liang!

The little clinic in here is everything you’ll need if you have no insurance or low on cash. The doctor is very knowledgable and won’t just prescribe you things you think you need. He’ll talk to you for a while on what’s your symptoms and the side effects with different drugs. I love this place. Will be going back when I am in need.

I got something that is nearly impossible, even at clinics where you are a patient: a same day appointment. Staff is wonderful: bilingual, friendly, helpful and competent. PA Laura Strausberg was efficient, quick, clear and reassuring. This is a perfect place to get good care in a good environment at a reasonable rate for people without insurance. Highly recommended.

This place was excellent and the staff was the best. Was in and out of the Access Health clinic within a hour. Like many at this time I find myself without health insurance and I came to this location to get medical-care and I was very happy with the service and medical care I received here. The Physician Ass. Sarah V. was excellent and if you ever in a bind to see a doctor and find yourself without medical insurance this is an excellent option and you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this clinic. A+ You will find the Clinic in the back of Milagros de Mexico drug store.

As soon as you walk in the door there is someone friendly asking how you can be helped. Every time! I’m amazed. It reminds me of those pharmacies in Mexico but on a larger scale. I hear nothing but great things about the care people receive at their on-site clinic. I love what they’re doing for the community and the affordable access they provide to healthcare. Absolutely amazing. I hope this model works and is duplicated all over. A definite step forward in terms of health care!

We haven’t been able to afford health care for years. Falling between the cracks like so many others, too much income for Medical, too little to pay as much for health care as we do for our monthly rent! My son is prone to earaches and Farmacia Remedios literally cures him everytime. MUCH less waiting time than the average ER or Urgent Care at hospitals or other offices. I’ve often realized my son could very well have suffered dire circumstances with his ear infections, or we’d be up to our necks in overblown bills. Farmacia Remedios is absolutely the best, true to the community it serves. My heart is warmed just knowing they’re there.

I was serviced from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out the door. It smells like medicine so needless to say I wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. The gentlement that helped me knew I wanted to get in and out so he grabed the bottle I brought to refill, grabbed a new bottle and sent me on my merry way… Now if only I had that experiance at every place I go!

This place is unreal. Another review stated that when you call a hospital and ask if there’s any walk in clinics in the Alameda area they’ll tell you there’s none and that you have to go to emergency room for urgent care if you are uninsured. This is what happened to us as well. WRONG. For $ 75(which is a good price to begin with for a doctor visit without insurance) you walk in to the back of what is a nice little drug store to find a reception area which you write your name on a list. We sign in and are called within a minute or two. Fill out a very small simple form and then wait for doctor. 10 minutes later you’re in seeing a doctor who was professional and very helpful. TENMINUTES. He was thorough and did not seem to want to rush at all and helped diagnose what was really a simple problem that needed antibiotics. Then another 15 the onsite pharmacy filled the prescription for just $ 14 and we were on our way, in and out in little over a half an hour. No appointment, nothing. Just quick, friendly, affordable medical care. I have gone to Kaiser for years and to do an urgent care appointment there, you call in and talk to advise nurse(and wait), make appointment, show up for appointment in insane parking situation(and wait), go register in waiting room(and wait, sometimes forever), go into doctor’s room(and wait, no cells phones allowed), then of course wait for crazy lines at pharmacy. You’re likely to spend a good part of your day(if not all day) getting whatever minor problem you have sorted out. All this for health care plan than costs $ 172 a month to go along with the $ 30 co-pay. I will never go to an emergency room again for anything that’s not really an «emergency» like a broken limb or something. I noticed they had free condoms being given away which i think is awesome as well.

Like many, many Americans, my current health care plan is as follows: hold my breath, cross my fingers, and knock on wood or fiberglass. So when my new employer sent me a health screen form, I did a bit of research. The clinics in Berkeley seem to be neither free nor accessible. I was going to need to pay $ 80 for an exam, and would not be seen until next week or so. I contacted the«Quick Health» clinic at the Fruitvale Bart station. When I called in this morning, I was put first on the list for this afternoon. I was in and out within 40 minutes. The doctor was warm and caring. He sincerely loves his job, and we bashed the state of national health care, sharing hope for improved health coverage all around. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Though not free, I am glad to have given my money to this clinic($ 59 for an exam). There are several in the East Bay, and this one’s existed for 2 years. I just want to put out the word. Kudos to the Oakland Quick Health Clinic at Farmacia Remedios in the Fruitvale Bart station area and to Dr. Carlos! Thank goodness for people like you!

This little local drug store is great. The staff is very friendly. The pharmacist was able to help me with finding glucosamine for my knee. I don’t have arthritis but a little glucosamine never hurt an avid hiker like myself. The thing is, this store is super clean. It’s almost eerie. The items on the shelves are all pushed up to the front and neatly arranged. They also have a variety of herbal stuff. Noni juice anyone? I deduct one star because it can be a little warm inside.

Okay dudes. This place gives«clinic» a new name. I called Alameda Hospital and the lady I was on the phone with was like«uh, I don’t think there ARE any clinics in Alameda county…» yikes. okay, mom, and abstinence is the best form of birth control, right?!? No, anyway, went online to find THESEAWESOMEPEOPLE right down the street from me near the fruitvale bart. When you find yourself one day without insurance(knock on wood) GOHERE. A safe, clean, kind(and bilingual!) environment with gentle and caring doctors and staff. Really, five stars, if there was an extra star out there somewhere it would belong to Pharmacia Remedios. Not sure how their pricing matches up to Longs(Costco is probably cheaper) but they gave me a discount because I visited the doctors on site… Great people!
