Today is the birthday of my 9 year old daughter, la belle Juliette.
What better day to knock out a heart felt tribute to David Marnioff who oversaw my hi risk pregnancy with warmth, skill and humor. I was 39, had a prior IUGR teeny preemie with my first pregnancy (now a gorgeous, smart, muscle bound, skirt chasin’, soccer playing, LAX Bro sophomore at Lick Wilmerding) and dealing with severe asthma when I plopped down before Dr. Marinoff expecting my second child. He was calm, sweet and reassuring the whole way through and I would soon have a splendidly chunky full term bambino who turned out to be the daughter of my dreams.
If you are here you are probably preggers, high risk and freaked out. I wish you well, I wish you healthy babies, quick recoveries, wonderful children, happy lives and doctoring as good as it gets.
