Make Waves Hair Salon

Laura has been cutting my hair for a few years and every time it is a great cut. I have fairly fine curly hair that I wear shortish, so I see her every 6 to 8 weeks for a Deva cut. I have been asked repeatedly by other curly haired women for her name. It is worth the trip through the Caldecott for me.

I only get my hair cut once a year, so I need someone who understands long, thick and curly hair. Laura is that one for me! She cuts my hair dry using the Deva method. I am never disappointed and the cut really holds an entire year! The salon itself is a tiny little place, very cozy and inviting. They have a small patio where you can wait in the sun, until it’s your turn to get pampered. I can only recommend Laura and Make Waves to anybody with curly hair!

This review is for Laura M. She used to be at Vero and moved to Make Waves about a year ago. I have thick, curly, frizzy hair and it’s admittedly tough to cut. Most stylists complain a little when I see them for the first time. Not Laura. I initially went to Laura for the deva cut. She does an amazing job. She takes her time and the cut grows out really nice. Now that my hair is a little less curly I usually just get a regular trim our cut. Most recently she had tip fix a terrible cut I got done somewhere else. I’ll never trust my hair with anyone else again. Plus, her pricing is very reasonable.

One should always have a good relationship with the one that makes you look great and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Delores Evans! We have been «together» for over 15 years. She has seen me through so many looks and style changes and has always made me look my best at a reasonable price. Location is also great, once your done Rockridge neighborhood beckons with great shopping and resturants to show off the newest look.
