So the first time I came in I fell in love with the atmosphere. The cashier is so friendly and her customer service is what keeps me coming back. The fiery wings are to die for and always fresh! Not only is the food great but the prices are even better! I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Filipino food can be greasy. Good, but still greasy, so when you put the entrée over the rice, the rice becomes greasy, too. While I liked the flavor of the pork lechon paksiw, the entire bowl of food was just a bowl of grease after a few minutes. I know it’s convenient, but perhaps divided containers would be better. Well, no matter, it’s too far for me to come out here. While I applaud another Filipino spot in Oakland, the music was too loud for me. I’m middle aged and to me, unless one lives nearby, this tiny place is basically for the younger crowd. The lumpia was good.

This place is awesome! Home cooked food in a hurry! Cant really beat that especially for lunch. The guy that was working was really helpful and really generous with samples so we know what we were getting. Will definitely come back here when I am in the area.

Nice service however pricey for what it is. Small plate of rice with meat is $ 11. The most I ever paid for Filipino food. I’m giving them a 3 star because they are nice however not worth the price. Food is average

The service is friendly and helpful. She let us sample the food so I wasn’t worried about getting something I wouldn’t like. The food is delicious! The lumpias and g-fire wing is a must with any order! I’m definitely coming back.

Fresh, delicious Filipino meals in Oakland! Hollerllujah for that! The extra long pork lumpia is awesome, they had a maiz ginataan for dessert that was out of this world! It’s sooooo good to know I don’t have to cross a bridge or leave Oakland when I have a Filipino food craving anymore. The employees were all super nice and it was easy, in and out! I will be back for sure!

I had an amazing experience here. I’d had Filipino food before but never like the food they have here, plus the service was above and beyond what I normally expect. You could tell that the lady working behind the counter was super passionate about the food being served and about the restaurant itself. She helped us to samples of whatever we wanted(though we only took 2 samples because everything looked and smelled so good anyway). When she made our plates, she was super generous and made sure our to-go boxes were completely filled. We ordered all the specials for the day with garlic fried rice + sweet sausages + an XL lumpia. The specials were string beans, squash, and shrimp in coconut milk; two types of slow-cooked pork; and sisig. The must-tries for me were the sweet sausages and the slow-cooked pork, and make sure to get it with the garlic fried rice. It soaks up the sauce really nicely! Cash only, but it wasn’t too big of a problem for me since the prices listed include tax. No annoying change :)

I really wanted to love this place. With Filipino food being somewhat scarce in the Oakland area, I really looked forward to giving this place a try. Having lived in the Philippines(and visiting often) as well as being raised by an amazing Filipino cook(my Mom, duh!), I often crave the comforts of Filipino food, especially on cold rainy days like today. We only ordered 2 items. The person behind the counter let us try one of their wings, and those are amazing. We decided to pass on those because we felt the pricing on their menu was pretty pricey to begin with, especially for being a turo-turo type of restaurant. My boyfriend ordered a small Giniling which was $ 11-$ 12; I think this is pricey for a small dish, but it was a pretty healthy small. When we got home and took a bite, we found that it almost had a stale chewy texture. We went at about 5:00 pm-which is late in the day, but it was clear that it had probably been sitting out all day. It was also a little bland. I’m also used to Giniling with a bit of color(tomatoes, maybe peppers, raisins, etc); but this dish seemed to only contain ground meat and potatoes. It was also VERY oily. The dish should have been drained. I ordered Chicken Afritada over rice, which was $ 13-very pricey for a turo-turo rice dish. While the servings were healthy, I still think it’s pretty expensive. I didn’t love this either. It was also very oily. Although the chicken was well-flavored(just the right amount of salty), the tomato sauce was bland and oily. I would have ordered something else, but there wasn’t much choice today(Bistek, Giniling, and Adobo)-and the dishes looked like they had been sitting out all day. I spent $ 25 on 2 dishes to be very disappointed.

She offered me samples of everything. I have to give her 5 stars for that. Plus I like street food! And it was good.

This is authentic Filipino food. I swooped up some chicken adobo and it was so bomb! Parking is easy and the folks are friendly. There is seating outside and on a sweet day like today it’s nice to eat your delicious food right there! Enjoy friends

Drove from Downtown Oakland to pick up lunch… place is about a mile from the 580 Fruitvale/Coolidge exit which is brightly colored house on the corner so hard to miss. Prepared food ala steam table and freshly fried lumpia when you arrive. Prices are ala carte or over rice with small or large. Great marketing because you can see all the freshly made food and if you’re unfamiliar can try a sample before ordering… I ordered the torta(ground pork with mixed vegetables in a soy-based sauce) along with the chicken tocino(filipino grilled chicken) at an additional cost. Totally worth it to get 2 items with garlic rice to get a good sampling… nice portion and filling. The XL lumpia is either chicken or pork which had a good flavor and crispy accompanied with a standard/bottled sweet chili sauce which wasn’t needed… i prefer a garlic vinegar but it was yummy on its own. Owners are friendly but ordering seems to be a little unorganized and it gets crowded as the space is very small… ATM located inside as its cash only. Seating outside and nice on a sunny day but opted to take back to the office. My coworkers and I will definitely be back to try other items as everything looked yummy!

i’m all for supporting local business, especially filipino establishments, but when i found a long strand of black hair in my food, i had to stop eating. i had the small order of one of their daily specials, their version of «bicol express». i’ve traveled to the philippines a handful of times & whenever i had«bicol express», the dish always consisted of pork, coconut milk, chiles & shrimp paste. when i placed my order, i received what looked like seasoned ground pork with green beans?! now by all means, i’m no professional chef and who knows maybe another sector of the philippines actually prepares their version of «bicol express» in this manner, but what was prepared was not what i was expecting. in fact, their laing(shrimp and taro leaves stewed in coconut milk) almost looked like the«bicol express» i was accustomed to that i had to clarify with the server which dish was which on the steam table. aside from the mysterious«bicol express» with the surprise strand of long hair, their G wings were really good! the staff member who helped me actually gave them to me for free since i had ordered 6 wings, but they only had 4 left. the customer service is great, but then again filipinos are all about hospitality, so that in itself was no surprise :)

The food was good. but like others have mentioned not worth the price point for the area. The things we ordered were lumpia and their garlic spicy wings. The guys were super friendly. Food changes depending on how the chef(auntie) feels. The lumpia was kinda sweet so i would pass on those next time. The wings, he gave us a sample, were juicy and delicious. They also had deviled eggs for a special today. Must be a thing, cuz lots of peeps were ordering them.

We were driving down Fruitvale Avenue and noticed a brightly colored well-lit restaurant(well more of a takeout place) offering Filipino food. We were on our way to an appointment but stopped by on our way back. Closed! We were bummed. We stopped by today because I needed to check it out. What a great place! They have Filipino specialties which they let you taste. We got delicious greens in a coconut based sauce and a Filipino piccadillo type dish with rice. All yummy! We also couldn’t resist their amazing lumpia: chicken and pork are both equally delicious. Yummy food and an accommodating and friendly crew behind the counter.

Delicious Filipino food! All lumpias are good here. This is a fast-food place, but they do have seats outside for you to sit if you decide to finish your meals there before heading off. It’s a family owned business and the owners here are nice and friendly. If you order with rice, then it’s cheaper. However, ordering just an a la carte can get pricey. I would recommend this place if you are feeling for some authentic Filipino food on the go!

I’ve finally found a bomb Filipino restaurant in the East Bay! I’ve been craving my mom’s home-cooking and I felt so much better after coming to Lucky Three Seven. Lucky Three Seven has delicious sisig! Top 3 best sisig I’ve ever had. Greater flavor and heat. BEST customer service! It was my first time here and I felt like I was being treated like family by the cashier Pisigh(?) for the hospitality!

Legit. LEGIT. Absolutely 100% Pinoy-style just like your mama or favorite Auntie/Lola/Manay prepared as a kid. Don’t miss out on the lechon Sisig, pork asada, XL pork lumpia, kare kare … the list can go on and on. We just took my mama and Tatay, and they loved it more than any of the other countless Bay Area Filipino restaurants we’ve been to over the years. Hells yeah. Seating is very limited, so best to treat as turo-turo style and get it family style to go. Your loved ones will love you more when you bring home hapunan. Enjoy and happy eating! Oh, and you will leave with baon because their portions are huge.
