Amazing mid-​century items at fair prices. The way they staged all of the items makes you feel like you need to own it all. Beautifully done!
Customer Service on the other hand, could have been better. This was my first visit so I wasn’t sure what to expect. As my fiancé and I walked in slowly, to see what the store was about, we were given a blank stare by the woman behind the counter. No greeting whatsoever. I do a lot of local shopping in Oakland and always experience the most lovely customer service, but not here.
We made our way around the store, admiring everything, as the woman continued to ignore us. There was also another woman in the back who occasionally came out but never greeted us either. Nor did either of the women offer any help when we were struggling with a lock on one of the suitcases. When I thought, «Maybe I’m being oversensitive?» another group of people came in… Immediately, one of the women went up to greet them with such enthusiasm. She even gave me a stare as we were walking out. Not cool ladies.
In my opinion, what really matters, is not what you’re selling, but how you treat your customers. I am the kind of person who will buy something (even if I didn’t plan on it), just because I received such excellent service, and because I love supporting local businesses.
As much as I loved the items, the snooty attitude I got is not worth coming back.

Cool, little vintage shop. Lots of smaller items, which are always fun to browse through. Wish there was more furniture. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back as they add new items!

Fantastic vintage mid-​century modern furniture and collectables store. The prices are reasonable, the staff incredibly sweet and helpful. My sweetie and I purchased our very first piece of furniture together here (a gorgeous mustard lounge chair from the 50’s) and the staff were more than accommodating. They allowed us to leave it with them until we were ready to pick it up, it stayed in the shop for several days. I highly recommend this store for your mid-​century modern eye candy needs. They also have a restoration shop in the back as well as an artist who builds custom wood furniture on site. Impressive quality control to say the least!

Great Store, Great finds, the owners have good taste! Great for gifts and things to liven up your home and life! Stop in often as the stock is always changing!

Grand opening day. Very retro, eclectic furniture and home goods. The owners are fun folks and were very friendly. One part vintage, one part hipster, one part retro.
Their stock will change regularly so be sure to stop by often.
