Great Donut! OK. I only tried the sugar one, but I think this is better than Golden Gate! I found out about this place through Piedmont Bakery and CAfe which carries their donuts, too. (ps I’ve seen this place and never went in because I thought it was related to Lee’s Deli, which has horrible donuts!)

Another place I’ve had bookmarked for awhile. Luckily, a donut shop! After having a doctor’s appointment at Kaiser one Friday morning, I decided to do a kind gesture of picking up a dozen donuts to bring into work. There were some school kids hanging around and buying donuts. The lady behind the counter acknowledged me while still helping them out. When it became my turn, again, she was very nice. She even helped me pick out some donuts. When I gave her my card to charge me, she told me of the small transaction fee and even apologized for that. The donuts here are great! They have other items on their menu, but donuts seem more their thing.

Lee’s had a large menu: ham & cheese crossaint, fish & chip, wings, coffee, lotto tickets & donuts for a pretty small place. eats: glazed donut(.80) fluffy, melt in your mouth. passed on the premade crossaint(2.5) and apfel coffee. friendly, courtrous service.

Love their food and the fact that they are always ready for a busy crowd. It tends to get busy there around 12:45 as the high school across the street have off campus lunch but I must say the employees does an awesome job of getting people in and out, gotta love that!!! Plus, their food is all freshly made and veryyy cheap! Fresh, fat sanwichs at about $ 3.50 and 6 piece fried chicken with fris for about $ 5.50. Portions are big and filling. My fave place to go for lunch because it is cheap, quick and filling. Love Lee’s!

Tasty donuts, great prices, breakfast sandwiches and the local high school kids love it. I had to stop in last minute for donuts for an office meeting and they happily obliged my three dozen request with smiles and a great variety of goodies. They do charge a small $.50 fee for credit cards which is understandable but just a heads up.

They make the best ham n cheese croissants. If you don’t like croissants try their chicken wings. Now, if you’re searching for some ol school high school cheese fries, they serve em here too. Don’t come here at lunch time as students flood this little store. Parking is not an issue. Customer service here is great.

The chicken here is simply amazing! Its deep fried in the fattiest oil you can get! After a meal in this joint you’ll gain 10 pounds for sure! Nothing like an unhealthy meal for lunch eh?

This is the spot for the local Oakland Tech students across the street. They have everything here donuts of course, candy, noodles, hot dogs, sandwiches, fried chicken, fries. If you’re looking for a cheap and filling lunch get some chicken and fries, I just love their sweet n sour sauce on the chicken. Don’t come here during lunch time when there’s school. The Oakland Tech students will rush here, and it’s not a pleasant sight to see when the store is literally full and you can’t get in or out.

Ah. Lee’s. There like a corner store. They have candy, chips, soda, drinks, donuts, hot dogs, nachos, fries, chicken wings, and they have cup noodle. Everything they have are of reasonable price. Donuts arent the greatest but there still pretty damn good. The owners are very friendly. They try to be helpful even if some high school students dont appreciate it even with 20 people inside trying to order. There kind and always ask what you would like with a smile. :) I recommend coming in here just for experience or for some food or snack.

I thought it was a donut shop(You would assume this because of the name) but it’s more of a convenience store that sells a small selection of donuts(5 – 6 different kinds) which were all decent but not great. They also have some comfort food that looks quite tasty(chicken wings, chicken strips, fries, etc…), ice cream, sodas, and other random items…
So, if you wanted to grab some donuts, chicken wings, ice cream, lottery tickets, souvenirs and cigarettes, this would be the one stop shop just for you.

The people that work at Lee’s are SUPER friendly and courteous. Lee’s offers general snacks, candy, and drinks(sodas, water, etc) much like a corner store. There are donuts of course, which are very affordable. They are nothing out of this world, but if you are hungry they do the job. They also offer what I like to call ‘ball park’ food; hot dogs, nachos, french fries. I also hear they serve delicious fried chicken, but I have yet to try them. I plan to. I also plan on trying those chili cheese fries & nachos. My favorite item, and the only item I’ve really had so far at Lee’s, is the bacon, egg & cheese bagel. This is not your gourmet style bagel. This is a straight-up«I’m really hungover and need something kind of greasy to eat» type of bagel. It is DELICIOUS. And they aren’t stingy with the bacon, either. The bacon is the softer kind, vs hard and crispy, but I prefer that for my hangover bagel. I realized I needed to give props to Lee’s after I went by there this morning for another EBC bagel. I am not hungover much, but I lost my purse last night. Of course I was upset, and still feel upset this morning. When my stomach started to growl, I started to contemplate what I could eat that would both satisfy my hunger and make me feel better. An EBC Bagel from Lee’s, yo! Only downside: I’m not sure they are open on the weekend… their hours during the week are 6am — 6pm. MAYBE they are open Saturday, I’m not certain though. But I know they are definitely CLOSED on Sunday. Which is a bummer. There has been many a Sunday when I wished for a Lee’s bagel.

Nick is the Cambodian/Chinese proud father of a one-year old, and he will hook you up with extra chicken wings if you’re a regular. This policy only works if you actually converse with him instead of rudely barking out orders like rude Oakland Tech students. After many visits here, Nick now knows my name, family background, future career goals, and interests, and he never fails to greet me with a cheery«Hi Lilly!» For those who complain about the donuts — this family-owned-and-run establishment’s main source of income is their deliciously fried chicken, so that’s where you should be gearing towards.

When I step into Lee’s donuts I completely bypass their donut display and go straight to the counter serving fried chicken wings. For about $ 1.50 you can get a good bundle of wings that taste surprisingly good, considering it’s from a donut shop. These wings are savory and spicy, with a good crunchy exterior that is unmarred by the flavor of cooking oil. The only drawback is having to wade through a sea of Oakland Tech students, who seem to cut class to hang out around here.

Usually good donuts & very consistent. They usually look better than they taste. So here: you should go with the raised, glazed, old fashioned, or buttermilk. The coffee buns & bowties always disappoint(tastewise). There was one time though that they tried to pass off a whole batch of wet with grease donuts/pastries(the fry-o-lator temp was too low to bubble and cook probably). They squished in your mouth almost as much as the dough sponges served at Krispy Kreme. I wouldn’t even mention that ONETIME if they’d hadn’t tried to act innocent. «Oh, IS it? Looks fine to me.» There was enough grease in those donuts to soak through the bag, my seat, and the chassis of my car. You could see clear through to the street. Neat.
