I began studying with Lea in 2005. She made a vocal exercise recording for me with which to practice singing daily. Over the past ten years, my has voice transformed — it’s got a stronger, warmer mid-​range and a wider range over all. My pitch has improved, too. I enjoy Lea’s dry wit and admire her expertise. She has made some lovely recordings of her original music, too.

I’ve had a large variety of vocal instructors over the years, and Lea was by far my favorite to work with. She was flexible in working in multiple musical contexts, was communicative and creative in explaining the many different elements of becoming a better singer, and she simply has a great character which made lessons fun and enjoyable. I’d recommend her to anyone looking to get better at singing.
