Breakfast here is great. I always order my eggs over medium but I like the whites cooked and they were perfect. The restaurant is very cozy and super small. The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. I will be back in the very near future.

the koffee pot is small. it has a counter that seats about, i’d say 4. the koffee pot is cozy. there are 2 tables in addition to the counter. it’s sunny and sits right on the sidewalk. they have very simple, ordinary food. i had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on sour dough with coffee. the cheese was not fancy, nor was the egg and the coffee was the least fancy thing of them all. it was still good. it was kind of like going back in time to around the 70’s before everything got so super special and over priced. the food is very inexpensive and the service was perfect. it’s a very nice place.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times on Saturday mornings. The scrambled eggs are perfect! Fluffy, tasty and cooked just right. I also get sausage and bacon with wheat toast all for around 9 bucks and there’s plenty of food on the plate. Service is friendly and plates delivered very quickly. This is a great place to go for a quick bite of tasty food. Bring cash though they don’t accept cards.

Koffee Pot offers yummy inexpensive food and friendly service; that’s why I keep coming back. I always get the breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage, two eggs, and cheese. It’s tasty and hits the spot. One of these days I’ll branch out and try something else from their menu…

Real good food. Is cheap, but can get costly if you get fancy, but it is worth it. Small, but doesn’t appear to be at capacity when I go, and I have been morning and afternoon. Service is good and people are nice. Teriyaki chicken with scrambled eggs, cheese and green onions with grits, mouth waters when I think about it, but again can’t afford it everyday because fancy means costly.

I like the tininess of it, and the fact that it’s so very local in its customer base. I don’t think it’s terribly cheap, given that I can get an early bird breakfast at Rudy’s or the Lakeshore Café for a couple of dollars less and the experience/food is better. But for a quick breakfast if you live nearby, it’s worth a try. The coffee is not my favorite, though.

Koffee Pott has all day breakfast, typical sammies, hamburgers, toasts, eggs, pancakes. and seating for 10… eats: 3 egg denver omlette(7.24?) –toasts lukewarm –jam squirted from ketchup bottle –hash browns mushy, not crispy –skimpy ingredients in omlette –did i say it tasted like home made? well, it tasted like it. . –except for the filling and the squirt, everything else rings true.

Yes this place is tiny, it can only seat 11 people in a very small space. However, it’s perfect. The food is cheap, fast, and tasty. I ordered eggs with jack cheese and chives, hashbrowns, toast and a side of grits. The serving was huge! Someone had complained about them only having Velveeta processed cheese, however they put jack cheese on my stuff, not processed so maybe they changed that. They offer breakfast and burgers. Oh! The coffee was really tasty too. The service was kind. I will be returning to this place for sure! Come here if you want quick, diner style breakfast! With a Korean twist. Rice and eggs who knew? Make sure to bring cash!

I’m a fairly new resident of Oakland and this was one of the first joints I checked out. Because it’s so close to home, I come here for breakfast a lot. It’s a tiny place that reminds me of a train dinning car. The sisters who own and run it are sweet and always give great service. Menu is your standard breakfast fare with curveballs like Teriaki Chicken with eggs and toast. They also have burgers and sandwiches on their menu. Oh, and the place has been around since the 1940’s! I’m amazed by that.

It’s not excruciatingly cheap breakfast food like one can get in the Mish, but it’s the kind one craves in the wee hours for sure(average 7 – 9 bucks a plate). this is a breakfast only place(they sell burgers too) in a SUPER small, cute diner right on Telegraph. the plates are heaping full of every awesome, basic morning grub one can eat(or attempt to eat in one go). make sure you bring cash because this is a cash only joint.

I like this place. Its a cute little breakfast spot. 2 Korean sisters working the joint. Its fairly cheap and you get some real home cooked breakfast. They dont have waffles though, but its ok. i enjoyed their pancakes nonetheless. It really is a hole in the wall but if you’re craving breakfast, like a regular homestyle breakfast, then come here. I love supporting small businesses like this. I feel the love in my food.

Tasty breakfast hole in the wall which offers traditional eggs, omelets, pancakes, BLT’s and such. I went for a late breakfast, maybe that’s why my hash browns weren’t up to par. A couple regulars came in after I was finished eating and they ordered their hash browns x-tra crispy… should’ve done that! It reminds me of a smaller, sightly less tasty version of Eddie’s in SF.

Before their recent re-opening I would’ve given them one or two less stars. Seems like they cleaned the joint up a bit. Believe it or not. Then again, it doesn’t look dirty, so I’m good with it. This place is the epitome of hole in the wall. Seats maybe 10 people, tightly. Maybe that makes me like it more. Super mom and pop(or sister/sister) type joint. Every time I’ve been it’s been the same two women working in there. You can see the chef, and everything she’s cooking. …except that damn velveeta! DAMMIT! I usually just get some eggs over medium, bacon, toast and hash browns for all of $ 6 or so. This time I heard the guy behind me(it’s hard not to) order the denver omelette. I was game, sounded good, looked good when it came out. It actually WAS good, except that GD cheese. As a cheese addict I can’t hang with the velveeta stuff. I would give this place 2 stars(since i know how you Unilocalers can get snobby), but it’s in my neighborhood and i love supporting the small, mom and pops joints. Also, the chef always gives me a sincere goodbye.

A total sketchy hole in the wall, but EXCELLENT service and CHEAPASS food. The food is good, too. But if you’re afraid of Oakland, don’t come here. You’ll get all weirded out.

Dropped my car off at XYZ for an oil change was Unilocaled up this place while walking. I ordered the 3 bacon, eggs, toast and hashbrown plate, seriously the hashbrowns are killer here! Good food and all of this for 6.75. Im thinking about going back just for the hashbrowns again.

Passable breakfast when you’re in a hurry and just need some protein and carbs to get you through the morning. For those of us in the breakfast sandwich crowd it’s a bit pricey for not much in return. There are times I wish I wasn’t too lazy to walk down to BART and go into the office for the day so I could at least get a half-way decent breakfast for a decent price. Only have english muffins(and possibly bread, but who gets a breakfast sandwich on normal bread?), no other cheese than the strange kind yellow cheese-like food that a lot of corporate fast food places like to use, skimpy on the egg. If the sandwich was $ 2 and some change then maybe ok, but 5.57? No thanks.
