This place occasionally offers bags of ripened, spotty bananas @ USD0.5, still edible, or great for making with ripened banana recipes which has stronger flavor.

This grocery market is the best in town. They have large selection of dried seafood, bird nests, ginseng, and all that good good lol. Fruits and vegetables were fresh and at a reasonable price. Great service come from the workers which is not expected since usually supermarket workers are hella stuck up and uncaring. They got the cheapest cigarettes which is a plus!

Typical Chinese Grocery Store here in Oakland Chinatown. The store sells your typical Chinese veggies all at a mostly reasonable price. It’s always busy on the weekend seeing as it is in Chinatown. Customer service is okay, pending you speak Chinese. If you don’t you may have trouble. 3 stars.

this is one of the many grocery stores in chitown operated by the family which runs legendary palace, the dimsum/seafood place. this place is literary packed with goodies like sea cucumbers(4.99−49.99/lb), dried bamboo fungus(5.99), dried louisiana shrimp(20), vinacafe instant(vietnamese) coffee(3.25) if you are unsure what was in the chinese food you ate, you can probably find it here(dried, canned items, or veggies only) they sell veggies in the front of the store. as i was leaving, i saw them packaging some dried yam(1.99/lb) that looked tasty. price is right! it tastes natural, no sugar additives. next to gold medal restaurant.
