They have a pretty large selection of 18 and 24k gold necklaces, rings, and bracelets.
It’ definitely can be updated inside since they are selling jewelry .and looking at the décor and walls and whatnot leaves an impression .
Anyway there a few kids in the back and a lot of ladies working there. So of course family owned. I was looking at some necklaces and I had asked about some bracelets and she kept assuming I wasn’t gonna spend money just by the way she kept telling me oh these are 1000 and up but you can see these they are 400.
I left. Too bad tho

Just had a ring resized again after Dennis jewelry in Alameda did it wrong. Dennis charged $ 65 and did a sloppy job and the ring still didn’t fit. This place charged $ 10 and the solder is much cleaner looking. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the older lady who works here couldn’t read the ring sizer right at all and I had to read it for her. They did a great job on my ring though! Yay Chinatown!

Probably the two people below had wrong timing? They do have their ups and down and they are all humans too, because I’ve been there several time. However, there’s only one particular worker that has a bad attitude vibe then all the workers. Anyway, my mother and I visit the shop for repairs and which is quite good! They’ll tell you how long it would take and always get on time. However, if they cannot fix it, they will simply tell you and give it back. It is a good thing that they charge you after they repair the item, so you don’t feel rip off. So whomever the person said they are a rip off, they are not. Not like other stores that you have to pay before they get it fix.
Anyways, I would like to argue with trustmeonthis t. about gold shops talking about them. If you realize, there is competition in chinatown. Almost every shop will dislike each other because one cannot gain that much profit than the other. /​common sense really/​Thus, they talk really bad each other, and if you simply ask other stores name then they will talk sh*t about so the other competition would have a bad reputation. Simply this applies to a lot of stores worldwide.
So don’t really simply believe people in Chinatown because everyone talk bad about each other on purpose. Also it’s very rude to shame the whole family because I’ve met few of the children (the owner grandchildren) in stores and quiet innocent to me. Plus the owner does not have a daughter at all. Also everyone makes mistake, no one is perfect in the world.

I have encounter that they were about to be con from 2 sellers who is trying to sell. They were about to do the switch the real gold to a fake one to sell from their pocket. I saw that too! The owner realize it and definitely told them to get out. They have their «rude» attitude is for a reason. They try to intimate gold sellers who are about to con them (they think they will con). Every sellers are unknown unless they are regular costumers. Do this to basically everyone, if it’s a real thing then they become friendly. The owner told me stories that they got robbed and cheated when the bought gold, so they have to be cautions about it. I don’t blame them for being really cautious because they already lost more than 20k from all the coning from the «costumers». So they don’t really believe stories because that was way gone when a lot of con artist tell about the same stories over and over again. So for the person who had bad experience, just blame the con artists from the past that make them cautious have gave a bad attitude bad towards sellers.

this place is wonderful. i got my ears pierced here and they did it for a good price. $ 4 for one hole and it comes with an earring. how awesome of them. they also did 2 holes at the same time because i asked. coooool !

DON’T EVER PIERCE YOUR EARS HERE!!! i give this place ZERO stars because it was the most unprofessional rude shoddy unhygenic job i’ve ever seen. i REALLY REGRET doing it, but whatever, it’s already done. i have no clue why i proceeded– actually i know why i was pressured. the lady kept saying hurry up, i’m leaving. she kept rolling her eyes at me, when i was hesitant to do it she mildly pushed me and punched my ear really fast to get it over with. OMG please don’t ever go here. she had earrings all piled in a box, nothing was sterilzed. i know i’m stupid, it all happened so fast and i felt so pressured. when she was done piercing my ears, she just left and said nothing– I KID YOU NOT! she was a BITCH. she said, we pierce everything, just not nose. omg they gotta be kidding me. don’t go here to get anything pierced, OR do any of their business ok. next time i will go to very reputable piercing place. THIS WAS THE WORST UNPROFESSIONAL UNHYGENIC SERVICE I EVER GOT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. she did everything as fast as she could, and she literally flew out the door, what a bitch. ew. DON’T GO HERE DON’T DO ANY BUSINESS HERE WHATSOEVER. THANKS. take it from me! whatever it’s just a stupid fucking ear hole, if i don’t like it i’ll just let the motherfucker close up. :(
