Juliana Graffagna Voice & Piano Lessons

Juliana has a special gift for engaging each kid with music that appeals to him/​her, and then building on that interest to teach the core elements of piano or voice. Her approach is open, flexible, and exciting. I was so envious of the great experience my children were having that I started taking piano lessons from Juliana myself, as a beginning adult. She has helped me make great progress in a short period of time, and the journey has been completely enjoyable.

I started going to Juliana about 4 months ago. I’m a beginner/​intermediate piano player and wanted to improve my piano playing as well as learn how to play and sing at the same time. This was extremely challenging for me, but Juliana was very patient and encouraging and really tailored the lessons to my interests and skill level. In just a few months of lessons, I successfully learn to perform (play and sing!) two very challenging songs and also learned some really helpful techniques for improving my playing and singing overall. I can confidently say that I am a much better piano player and a better singer after my short time with her. Unfortunately I will be moving out of the area soon and won’t be able to continue my lessons with her. Hopefully I’ll be able to find someone just as amazing as Juliana after I move.

Juliana is an awesome piano teacher! My 9 year old daughter loves her and loves her piano lessons each week. She usually loses interest in activities pretty fast, but she’s been going strong with lessons all school year and improving every week! Juliana incorporates improvisation into the lessons which is so much fun and a great skill to build! She brings a lot to the lessons with her diverse background in so many musical styles. We participated in one recital so far and got to see her many piano and voice students, all thriving and joyous in their musical education. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for any age!

Her vocal training is precise, positive and passionately fun. And I sing waaay better now than before her lessons. She’s the real deal.
