Hilary gave me the perfect creative cut along with off the chart color. I cannot recommend her enough.

So great! Super listener. Got the best cut I’ve had in years. Free bang trims, so I have no excuse to hack them myself. She was also really cool about me bringing my infant along for the session.

Hilary does such an amazing job, I always feel rejuvenated every time I see her. I’ve been going to see her for about a year now and I don’t know what I’d do without her. She always knows what to do without me telling her what I want-​for the most part I never know what I want. I tell her I’m feeling bored, or just need a change and she makes my hair look fabulous. I get tons of compliments on my hair; it looks great whether I style it or not. Not only is she the best stylist, but she’s a sweetheart and blast to talk to. Did I mention I drive from Marin to see her. Totally worth it!!!

I have been going to Hilary for over 15 years. I am really low maintenance with what I am willing to do for a good hair cut but I can tell you she has NEVER steered me wrong.
Most of the time I tell her the length and ask her for something «cool» and she never disappoints! I can’t tell you the number of times that I have left her salon to people stopping me on the street to say how great my hair is.
I was driving from Oakland to SF just to see her and I can’t be more delighted to get to have her in the East Bay!
Oh and the color! I have been many colors over the years and she has done a wonderful job even going so far as to refuse to dye my hair black after a bad breakup. She also did my wedding hair… I guess I can go on and on

I will book an appointment with her post haste.» Hilary has such incredible skill and vision, I trust her implicitly which is saying a lot. I have curly, unpredictable hair, and after cuts with Hilary, it behaves!!! Hilary works with me to discover a new style or perfectly recreate an old fave. I send my friends to her and when they send me their after photos they have HUGE smiles and they look fabulous. Love her!
Also, I’m getting married in June and she’s working with me to find my hairstyle for wedding day, and will be my day-​of hairstylist. I know that my hair will be radiating with her at the helm.

Hilary Reed is an incredible stylist — I always end up feeling like I got exactly what I was hoping for. She will work with you on long-​term goals while making you look great along the way, and also can just jump in on the fly and create a fantastic new look on the spot.
She has been my stylist for 8 years and I trust no one else now! I was a salon hopper until I found her. With 20+ years experience, she is a seasoned colorist as well, for conservative to radical looks that grow out well.
Hilary is the bomb, and I’m so glad she has made the move from SF to the East Bay!!!
