It’s convenient for State Employees or people stuck in meetings. Other than that it’s just industrial cafeteria food. I thought I’d save time today by getting chicken curry here, because how do you mess up curry chicken? Well, you make it flavorless in a gloppy, salty sauce. Serve it with crunchy rice and replace the cabbage salad with a romaine and carrot salad. Luckily it was only $ 6.50.

My breakfast/lunch go to for the last 6 years now. The staff is very friendly and the cook is very hard working who will cook to order. I always get bacon & eggs in the morning. If you want it crisp, no problem — she will be happy to do that! The location is on the 2nd floor of the Elihu State building. There is plenty of seating as it’s a cafeteria atmosphere. The coffee is wonderful, «Peet’s» that you can serve yourself. They also make freshly baked cookies — «Otis Spunkmeyer». The prices are fair and at lunch time, there is a fresh salad bar with a good assortment of bottled dressing to choose from.

Gourmet Choice runs the cafeteria on the second floor of the Elihu M. Harris State Building. They serve Peet’s coffee here. The prices on their breakfast and lunch menus seem reasonable, but alas I was too late to order anything off the lunch menu. Since I was in the building to take care of some business, and somewhat hungry, I just stopped in for a bottle of green tea with citrus. They had leftover baked goods and cookies, but I wanted a sandwich. There will be another time to visit Gourmet Choice for breakfast and lunch.
