Giant Burrito

The steak fries will always be heaven in my mouth! I have now moved from this location. I could walk there on a sunny evening and enjoy a nice plate of steak fries but now I am almost 45 minutes away and that’s driving. I miss it. The owner Is super cool but I must admit prices have gone up. Still, is worth it. Keep up the good work!

This place used to be good, and still is only when the owner is working there. I ate there tonight, and the old man that doesn’t speak any english was there. the seasoning completely missed the burger only catching a small corner of a patty or two, when the condiments were put on, the mayo was all on one half, the special sauce on a separate quarter, and all over my fries, the lettuce, few onions, and one slice of tomato were all piled up in the center, and the fries were unsalted, and unseasoned. To make matters worse, I got a minor bit of food poisoning. I have been feeling nauseous and so sick to my stomach that even just the sight of any other food made me want to throw up! This place used to be REALLY GOOD, but the quality has seriously dropped! After this encounter I will never be eating there again!

This place used to be good but I just paid $ 12+ for a regular sized, crappy burrito with French fries in it and when I mentioned it to my neighbor they told me they got sick from this place.

This place is great. I love their carne asada, it has a great kick to it. Their tortas are bomb.

Quick, cheap, great food. Got a burger and burrito from there. Was not disappointed, don’t over look this little gem. I’ll be back…

i had the carnitas taco. it was delicious! i didn’t expect it to be as good as it was for only $ 1.25 + tax. so happy i tried this spot! the service was great. i will be going back soon!

this is a great place for quick food, not much else.
I’ve been here a few times and it’s alright. Fist time I got chillie fries which were okay but nothing more than average fries with a can of chillie on them. Another time a got the giant barrito 12 inch. it was very good, however the guy at the window didn’t speak English so ordering it was an expirience to say the least. This place is hit or miss with customer service. When you walk up you can always tell if they are going to not give a shit about your food.

Ok let’s not forget this is a dive and there is nothing more I enjoy more than dives and good deals! Cheeseburger special, fries and a drink for $ 5.49. It’s a huge burger and it’s damn tasty. Only negative, I told dude twice no tomatoes, once when I ordered and again when he asked everything on it? Lo and behind yup lol!
I also ordered the beef chimichanga. Yea I was eating with my eyes. Also very tasty. Aside from the neighborhood I mean I live only two blocks away this place is the best deal around if you’re not looking for something healthy check it out.

It’s not gourmet or even healthy. This is your greasy late night burrito shack. The menu is cheap as heck and one of my ghetto favs. Definitely hits the spot when you only have a few bucks.

On a Sunday burger quest with the lady we discovered this dive heaven. A craving hit us and nothing sounded quite right. We decided to drive until we discovered a new joint to check out, our sights set for a hole in the wall greasy burger joint, we of course started heading down San Pablo into Oakland trusting that something would pop out at us.
And boy, were we right.
Just below a faded, dirty ¼ Giant Burger sign we discovered Giant Burrito. Presumably it used to be what the neglected sign indicated, it is now a Burrito & Burger counter joint. A new sign displayed the menu above the order window and a Taco Truck sat vacant in the parking lot (perhaps a mobile extension?)
We both ordered the Cheeseburger, which came with a small order of fries and a little (maybe 10oz) soda for $ 4.50 (=+tax.) I opted for the upgrade of bacon for $ 0.50 (when was the last time you added bacon for that cheap?)
We sat at the only table available (a janky 2 top) and looked at the delicious grease bombs that sat before us. They were doubles which I suppose is standard, and a piece of crispy bacon was nestled into the cheese.
And oh, did it delight. Sometimes you crave gourmet grass feed decadence, and sometimes you want just a good solid, juicy gut filler. When you want the latter, this won’t disappoint The fries were also solid with salt and a little seasoning.
We definitely have to return for the mexican fare, they have a 12″ burrito (true to their name!) as well as nachos, tacos, quesadillas and tortas.
Go for a dive, don’t be deterred by the look of the building or the neighborhood and get the best burger deal around for $ 5.

Because if your not a fan of inexpensive tasty meals beyond par with Smokehouse and In&Out …than please keep walking.
Don’t let the location fool you or the ‘hood charm scare you away from this gem.
My biggest gripe? I didn’t know of this place until now… and they aren’t open past 8 on weekends.
Had the best burger combo (fries and drink) of my existence for $ 5.
I’ll be back with the man for Mexican for sure.
