Galley Coast Guard Island

The food was more acceptable at $ 3, but now that it’s near $ 5, totally not worth it. Exemplifies the stereotypical crappy galley food.

First — you will need access into Coast Guard Island (i.e. Military Personnel and/​or dependents, DoD etc)
Second– It’s cafeteria style — get on that line
Third — It’s good — for under $ 5
Fourth — You bus your own table.
This is a really good deal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s not gourmet but it’s good. Get here early because they do run out of food. The menu varies from day-​to-​day.
For $ 4.60, you get soup, salad, entrée, sides, desserts and drinks (soda and coffee).
We like it. It’s a cheap and it’s good, especially after swimming in bldg. 42. The bonus is you can go for 2nds or thirds, whatever floats your boat.
