Um… no. Even drenched in sauce the food had no flavor. If you could chew water, that would be the taste of the chow mein. The garlic chicken wings were tasty but had feathers still. The prawns still had the shit vein in them. I shouldn’t have to pluck my chicken and douche my prawns before I eat them. I’m cool. Never again. The latin ladies, the servers tho– were wonderful. I hate the food couldn’t be as nice as them. This a great place to buy a homeless person a cheap meal, portions are huge. But for someone who works and earns their money, save your cash. You deserve better.

this place really kicks butt. if you are looking for pre-made steam table Chinese food you can do no better than Chef Ming. OK, yes they have gotten expensive… and be forwarned, that if you get a 1 item combo, it comes in a tiny hotdog sized container, but 2 items will set you back $ 5.65. 3 items roll up to $ 6.45…It used to be that they made up for the priciness with huge portions, but those have seemed to level out… But the food matters and due to cooking smaller portions and high-turnover, the food quality for a steam table is really good. Their chowmein, fried rice is really good and while other places is just a way to pad the container and providing less space for your main dishes, I would order the Chow Mein on its own. They have Salt and pepper prawns which are dee-lish. They do not use tiny shrimp and call them prawns, rather they use really large prawns they have lunch specials for $ 2.79 for 1 item and white rice(in that tiny hot dog sized container, and between 7pm-9pm, if you buy 2 combos you get a 3rd free!
