FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

I was having an emergency. I was setting up for a convention over at the convention center and one of my over head signs holding system broke. I had to brainstorm and I had to fix it fast. It had to be with in walking distance to get some type of supplies to fix this problem.
I Unilocaled it, of course and FedEx popped up. So I ran over here to see what they had in regards to affixing signage.
The guys working were so helpful! We all brainstormed together and came up with a Velcro system that they sell in store. I couldn’t have been more grateful for the employees working here.
I went back, fixed my sign and it worked for two days of my convention.
They saved me!!!

When I walked in I asked for the paperwork you have to fill out to ship things to Canada (the customs declaration), and they told me that was unnecessary. Then when I said after ten minutes of waiting in line, «I’m shipping this to Canada,» they handed me the form. I asked them why they hadn’t given it to me when I asked for it the first time, and they said they didn’t hear the word «Canada.» Then they made me fill out the entire form a second time because they didn’t explain to me how the form worked and I made a mistake. The whole thing took three times longer than it needed to because of the extremely poor customer service. I usually use USPS, but this time I tried FedEx hoping for better customer service. I guess I was wrong to hope for better service at FedEx. The people at the US post office are super mean, but at least they are competent.

Location gets the 4 stars, and all the machines are up to date and pretty self explanatory. I appreciate being able to easily obtain a FedEx card to load cash on to pay for my services (fax, copy, print). There is also the option to pay by credit card when using self service machines.
There are two fax machines available, and two large self service printers that have Dropbox, Google Drive and Cloud services linked for easy printing. No USB needed. If you are having trouble logging into the above accounts there is a store email that you can have documents printing from by one of the associates.
Passports, shipping, stationary, pens, ink, web and Microsoft access, FedEx is your all in one stop for handling your paper business.
Service is pretty so so but they work in a printing and shipping store so how charismatic could they be.

They said they’d finish my notebook by eod and give me a call before closing. They did neither.
When I came to pick it up, they kept me waiting while they took care of other print jobs. Wen they saw me writing on my phone, they immediately came to help. Too freaking late!

Went in on a Sunday to send off a package and honestly had the friendliest interaction possible. The gentlemen, Will, who helped me really did a great job walking me through the process and options.
I rarely find it necessary to write a review but he really did such a great job I felt it only fair to publicly share my thanks.

Went in to mail out some packages quickly for a client. Service was moderately quick and the guy Chester who helped me out was a really friendly guy.

I usually receive excellent service at this location however today I stopped in and asked if they offered certified mail thru the USPS and the gentleman who was behind the counter proceeded to talk to me/​correct me as if I was a toddler. I explained that the only reason I asked is because the window has a sign that says ‘direct mail’. I guess you’re an idiot if you don’t automatically know that means ‘FedEx mail’ not ‘USPS mail’. Perhaps they should offer extra customer service training!

I really feel for the people who work here — everyone, myself included, come here totally stressed out about getting the package sent in time, or the print job done by the deadline. The staff manage to be calming and reassuring, although it’s sometimes so crowded that by the time you get far enough up in line to talk to them, you’ve wigged yourself out.
I’ve never picked up a poorly done print or lamination job from here, but I have been frustrated by wait time and problematic machines.

This has to be one of the more oganized and less crowded fedex stores I’ve been to. I came in completely disorganized and in a rush and Matt was nothing but helpful. Got my package shipped and made it back to work just in time

Wish we had the option to not give stars, because this place does not deserve one. Worst service I’ve ever received. The sad thing is, it is the only available place in the area. On average, the employees are too busy holding conversations with each other than helping customers. It takes longer to wait for assistance than it does to actually print or copy what you need. When you finally do receive assistance, it’s with a horrible attitude. I don’t understand it, if they are so unhappy then maybe it’s time to find another job, I’m sure the company could easily find their replacement. If you can avoid this place, then please do! And if anyone knows of a place that offers similar services let me know!

Brought my package, met with a smile, did everything for me, and sent me on my way. Even lent me a dolly.

Always meet deadlines and prints accurately! No bad experiences. Happy they moved up to top floor. More convenient.

I never had an issues with customer service. The worker helped me on what I needed done. FedEx Print has been convenient for shipping items, faxing and printing. This place is a savor when needing these services.

Time: 3:55pm
Purpose: Ran out of styrofoam peanuts for the office. Place is within steps so off I went. Came at a good time no one was around 2 – 3 customers at most.
Set-​up: Your all in one place for fax, copies, internet, shipping/​packaging materials, reams of papers, color copies, digital printing, tape, paperclips, binders, folders, clips… etc.
Staff: Pretty efficient while I was there I guess training pays off for this location as most I go to they don’t have a clue of what I’m asking. My only guess is that that deal with all kinds of situations so they pretty much knows what to expect from customers upon asking.
Cleanliness: Nothing can be said it’s up to code and health hazards factoring in that large companies will almost cover every issue that arise only of their deep pockets.
Expectations: This use to be downstairs between a cleaner and parking lot were some people can’t find that easily. Once they move it was a better culture fit as people walking by has the occurance of oh let me do this and get it out the way. So is important to have a good location when opening a business. Come before noon and after 3pm should be just fine. You’re stuck with a prepaid card to copy machines make sure you know how many copies you need before adding funds to card.
Final Thoughts: I usually don’t come here everything I need I can get at other office supply chains company paying so I came. Place is for people just to come for the convience and deadlines. With more time on hand make a trip to emeryville OfficeMax more selections and cheaper prices that’s their specialty.

$ 8 to fax 4 pages? WTF?
When you put your credit card in, it’s not clear they’re going to charge you $ 2 a page, rather than $ 2 for the whole thing, which even still sounds expensive. Once it’s over, there’s no way to go back. Ludicrous. I was basically just robbed. I may file a police report while I’m still good and angry.

This place was a lifesaver! I needed to ship a package out today, a Saturday, and this FedEx was the only courier in the area (counting USPS and UPS) that was open until 5pm and would ship out a package marked with today’s date until 5pm. Luckily, I sent it earlier, but it was comforting to know the option was available.
When I called frantically, an employee quickly picked up the call and answered all of my questions calmly and was helpful when I got there to ship the package. It was totally worth paying the extra money to have the piece of mind of tracing it and it was great that this place was available to help make it happen.

I’ve used FedEx a couple of times when the printer is out of ink. Additionally, I use them on a regular basis to ship.
Always warmly greeted, and asked if they can help.

A year ago, I would’ve given this place 4 or 5 stars. Why the change to 1 star? Let me tell you:
I usually come here only to have my scrapbook bound. A scrapbook is something that holds lots of memories and meaning and is very difficult or near impossible to recreate. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that much care should be taken when handling such an item. That aside, I realize how much of a challenge it is to ask someone to bind something that holds so much value when all they’ve been doing is making simple copies etc on a regular day’s work. The biggest challenge is figuring out the binding size because my pages are not the typical 8×11″. But the one guy I always trusted my book with always did an amazing job! He took so much care and time and even tried to be creative about it to make it look good. Considering what he had to work with, he gave me 5 star quality.
Unfortunately, he recently transferred to another location. I had to trust my book in the hands of another person who had no clue what to do with it. She was incompetent and completely careless with my book! She tore several of the pages and claimed that it was bound to tear anyway over time with the binding I had chosen. I was like watching a surgery go all wrong as I watched her ruin my scrapbook. She tried to rush through the process and obviously didn’t like the project/​challenge she was given. Took much longer than it should have because she had to keep fixing all the mistakes she was making. It goes without saying, I was deeply unsatisfied and almost angry with her. Come on lady, it’s a scrapbook, so treat it with some decency!

Fed Ex used to be here. now kinko’s is also here but it’s not called fed Ex kinko’s either. it’s Fedex office & print center. go figure.
I had to return a phone to ayala. that could have picked up by fed ex. dropping it in a fed ex box was not an option since that’s reserved for express packages. long story short. dropped it off to avoid screwups on the pick up. the peter principle and murphy’s law are absolutes in my workplace
only one person was at fed ex. dropped off the package. and got a receipt as proof just in case. such an effiecient operation! big contrast to my work environment.
