Fairyland Summer Camp (FSC) is an absolute gem! It is a unique and valuable experience for young children. The activities at this camp will inspire, encourage and stimulate their minds and creativity. It is awesome that my children get to spend the day outdoors in a safe environment and with caring staff members. Most of all, they are given the time and space to be themselves and PLAY… after all, play is the primary way children LEARN.
The Education Specialist Shana, is a genuine, intelligent, and professional Leader. She has a positive and loving energy that is contagious. My children have attended FSC for 3 years and I always see her connecting with all the campers and parents. My children really, really enjoy their time at Fairyland Summer Camp and I am a happy and grateful Mother.

My daughter LOVED fairyland Camp.
Shana Barchas and all the team leaders made the kids feel welcomed and happy.
My daughter made crafts, learned about different cultures and spend the summer days in the fresh outdoors.
The kids ended the camp putting on a play for all the parents. It was adorable.
My daughter wants to go back next year too.
Fairyland, Wlalt Disney’s inspiration for Disneyland… Is the happiest place in Oakland!

My 7YO daughter’s reaction to her first week at Fairyland camp, «I loved it! I wish we could all, all of the same people, could come back. We were so good! I love acting. I want to start a drama club at my school. Please can I do it again??» My daughter is a little shy. FL summer camp provided her with joy, confidence and inspiration. She loved putting on the play and wants us to join her in acting it out over and over. The staff is amazing. The director, Shauna, is so personable and friendly, the kids LOVE her. Plus, who doesn’t love Fairyland? And the kids get to do amazing things like go behind the scenes in the puppet show and go inside the animal cages. I highly recommend!!!
