Hiring Heshy is a total no-​brainer. We had a really excellent three-​course meal that he prepared and served in a private home this week and all of the touches were fantastic. Food that really shone and made a great night special.
Plus he’s just an amazing presence to have in your kitchen. I have also hired him to cater company lunches: he does great cold sandwiches, wraps, salads and don’t get me started on what he can do with meat. Genius. And he really cares.

I had Heshy cater my wife’s birthday party and it was amazing. The food and presentation was exceptional. Beyond the food the service was what really shined, the team took the time to help organize my backyard for the event and even ensure that the flow was right for my guests. I could not be more pleased.

Went to a pop up taco night. The taco we’re delicious!
The beef was marinated beautifully and the chicken was stewed and delicious. The mushrooms we’re a great option for vegetarians.
The homemade salads and guacamole we’re really good.
The chips and am salsa we’re not homeade.
The chili brownies we’re really good. Great kosher option!

We just hosted a baby naming catered by Epic Bites. Working with Isaac was an exceptional experience. He took care of everything, was flexible (I have a non-​kosher kitchen), made extraordinary food, brought a lovely team, and left my kitchen immaculate. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

I just went to a wedding with Epic Bites catering. It was some of the best wedding food I’ve had. Beautifully presented and really delicious! They did a taco bar with lots of beautiful salads and pickles and a beautiful meal. The hors deurves were excellent too. I would definitely use epic bites for my own event. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went to the popup restaurant that Epic Bites organized in Berkeley this past Sunday. Wow. For $ 54 a plate, they delivered a kosher banquet that tops anything I’ve had in the kosher restaurants of NYC, Paris, or LA. The attention to detail and the creativity for each of the four courses was impressive: Goose boureka, perfectly cooked short ribs, peanut butter mousse with bacon and a brownie. This food is the real thing: kosher, socially and environmentally conscious, the highest quality, and completely delicious.

Most kosher food in the Bay Area is a novelty by virtue of the fact that it is actually kosher.
When I heard people rave about Epic Bites, I must admit was skeptical.
I have since used them as a caterer twice The food was beyond what anyone expected. Veal brined in apple cider, root bear brisket.
Who eats brownies with kosher bacon inside? I do if Isaac B is cooking!
The name is quite apt. It is exactly what it sounds like. I would recommend them to any friend hosting a dinner i was invited to.

I was invited to what was to be an 11 course tasting event, which due to the chef’s innate desire for culinary innovation and beauty, ended up being more in the vicinity of 17 mouth watering presentations. The crowd was a mix of foodies and pedestrian eaters and all enjoyed the artistically presented plates and delicious cuisine. He even took care to prepare variations of courses to the liking of the guest. Each course was excellently paired with a thoughtfully selected wine. As if the food wasn’t outstanding enough on its own! After two days, my mouth is still watering just thinking about it! From start to finish, hands down most inredible meal I’ve ever witnessed!

I have been lucky enough to have had the pleasure of eating some of the amazing food the cooks at Epic Bites have served up, all beautifully presented: Orange Chicken that is sweet, a little spicy, and authentic as can be; Cheesecake that cooks on Shavuot can only dream of delivering; perfect schnitzel that my son still bugs us about not being able to reproduce; salad with veal bacon that was hard to stop eating, etc. With gourmet food like this, fairly priced, served up by a friendly and professional crew, the Bay Area is very lucky Epic Bites has chosen to make its home here. Easy to work with and delicious, I would highly recommend selecting Epic Bites for any catering gig, particularly if you want to impress guests.

We had an epic 19 course meal at a private home in San Jose, and it was absolutely amazing. I am someone who in a previous life at at some of the top restaurants around the world, and this meal we had could put some of them to shame. I’ve used Epic Bites catering for a few events. Everything they have made has been absolutely amazing. Their veal bacon was cured to perfection. Shnitzel breaded with panko the way it should be. Pulled beef that melts in your mouth.
This kosher venue would be a five star rating in any major kosher culinary city like NYC, LA, Miami, etc. The Bay Area doesn’t realize how lucky they are. Hands down the best food I have eaten!

We just had Epic Bites cater a baby naming for us in our home. With over 100 people, Epic Bites fed us all an amazing brunch and everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and the variety. They created a unique menu for our event, were responsive in the weeks leading up to it, and arrived promptly to set up. Some favorites: Apple pancakes with sour cream (a fresh interpretation of potato latkes), cheddar and scallion biscuits with mushroom gravy, and a veggie frittata. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
