I have to love this place because I am ½ Ecuadorian and I do. It is very hard for me to find things from Ecuador and every time I do it is something to be cherished, coveted and passed down. In Ecuador, many indigenous communities boast talented artisans that make goods for sell and trade as well as for each other. What they make for each other is especially sought by me and includes the beads, especially the tiny gold strands that the indigenous women wear, the embroidered blouses, the panama or felt hats and so on. The tapestries, the flag, the satchels and the jewelry are the mark of a passionate place where my heart is and alas will be. Forget the department stores! Leave the mall alone! Check out places like this that sell beautiful handmade treasures and you will treasure them too. Viva Ecuador!

This nick-nack store is run by the same lady as the booth at Fruitvale Farmers Market( ). The store has lots of jewelries and some clothes. The shirt I bought from her(and she fixed the sleeves for me as they were too long for me) always receive compliments. She also makes some bead jewelries herself, and they are very reasonably priced. Check them out.
