Cuts and Bends Hair Center

Great place to take your kids for a hair cut. Rodney is very engaging with his clients, adults and children. He has a natural ability to make everyone feel welcomed. My son thinks he is hilarious. As a single mom who hates the typical barbershop, I love the fact that it’s a safe environment for my son. No profanity allowed, and no disrespect are the rules. I’m a native of Oakland, now a resident of Castro Valley. However, as long as I’m in the Bay I will take my son here for a cut. Btw, parking is not an issue, wait time is short, prices are affordable!

I’ve been going here for 10 years and there’s a reason I keep coming back. I’ve developed such a good rapport with Rodney that I can sit in the chair, tell him exactly what I want and he delivers every single time.
While there are no appointments taken, you usually don’t have to wait long — unless it’s the day before a holiday. Great place to take children for a haircut, and there definitely is plenty of reading material while you wait.
They are open 7 days a week (how many other barber shops or salons can say the same?), so it makes it convenient for all.
The prices are definitely reasonable — I actually think they should be raised as they have been the same since I’ve been going.
Overall, great value and good customer service at Cuts and Bends.

Got cut by the barber Rod and he served ME right. Indeed a great cut. Last minute on the whim appointment. He got me in and out– I will return
