I’ve seen Dr. Hoffman three times now and each time has been a pleasant experience considering. I had a complicated and debilitating ingrown toe nail that he resolved in two visits back in January, which of course occurred right before I had to take an international trip. He said if anything came up before I had to leave the country he would be sure squeeze me in. Thankfully all went well. Now, nearly a year later, this stubborn nail has decided to flare up here and there over the last month or so. The one evening it got noticeably painful I decided that I would go see Dr. Hoffman to have the acid procedure done to prevent the nail from ever growing back in that area again — BAM take THAT bastard nail! I’m currently regaining feeling in my toe but felt that I really needed to Unilocal the good doctor after today’s visit because he put a sad face on my toe’s dressing! Haha! He’s a funny guy, sarcastic, and like another reviewer said possibly a little sadistic but he keeps it light and is good about taking your mind off of what’s happening to your poor foot/​feet right in front of you. I highly recommend him and as an added bonus his staff is pretty delightful as well.

I’ve been almost always very happy with Dr. Hoffman’s work. He is excellent at what small incidences have caused me to see him, his staff is polite and thoughtful, and once you gain his trust in a mutual patient-​doctor understanding, you will find him attentive to working with you to intercept in advance your possible ongoing foot problems.
For instance I had an ingrown toenail on each of my big toes. After the first time, they grew back in half the usual timeframe of recurrence. He immediately not only prescribed antibiotic to be taken (only when necessary), but also took measures to try to keep it from happening a third time on each large toe.
All podiatrists should have such a great bedside manner and such a wonderfully «quirky» (I could say sadistic, but that might be exaggerating) sense of humor.
