You know I do my best to support a local business but this place is wack af. Fries are Costco frozen quality, the burgers are below average, & the price isn’t worthy.

Food is just above McDonald’s quality for double the price. Left bloated and unsatisfied. This neighborhood deserves better.

This place will do in a pinch when you are very hungry and do not have a car, no time to go somewhere else or any combination of the above. Moderately priced filling, but somehow one does not get that«hamburger» meat satisfaction. Wonder why? People seem efficient and friendly. Emergency food.

Have loved this place for years! The burger tastes like a burger. They are fast and to the point. JUSTONEQUESTION: Why do they literally give you an entire bag of fries with one burger? I found a homeless dude and gave them away. Waaayyy too many fries!!! Lol!

Best real burger ! Doesn’t require fancy ass hipster ingredients. Just a bomb ass basic burger like the kind you have at a family BBQ

Damn that’s a good chicken sandwich! Got there and the door was locked, so we ordered outside. The wait wasn’t too bad, maybe 10 minutes… the lady and grill guy were pretty swamped, but they worked it! This was my first time at Anhs and I’ve lived in Oakland for over 35 years, I don’t know what I was missing out on. 5 stars, will eat again! A++++

So good! This is a greasy dive burger place, so leave your snobbery at the door(and fancy box wine– I’m looking at you guy in front of me literally timing them while you wait for your food). They were a little slow because they obviously had someone not show up to work, but the two people working were hustling and so nice. Food was fresh and delicious. The strawberry milkshake divine. Five stars because you can’t ask for a more solid burger.

Eating here with family and my two kids. There are three other patrons here eating and its relatively empty. From the good reviews I’m shocked to have to give this place 1 star but hey I’m a mom making an order with difficult two year old in hand and the guy taking my order is openly annoyed at my family and I. I haven’t tasted the food yet but you see when your first impression is such anything you eat after just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We are visiting from La and Oakland always gets a bad rap but if this is any indication that you’re having a bad day so you just take it out on others. I guess so guy. Will not be coming here again, but thank you for the food.

Good old fashioned burger joint with a simple menu and down home breakfast too with your typical burgers fries and milkshakes. For breakfast: eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. They might be a bit understaffed for lunch, or at least when I was there because it seemed like there was 1 woman there doing all the cooking during rush hour and she was getting so buried under the orders that customers were leaving from either waiting too long or from orders being missed. WHATYOUSHOULDKNOWABOUTAHN’S QUARTERPOUNDBURGER 1) They stop serving breakfast at 11AM. 2) You can order at their window in front and wait in your car for your order in their parking lot or just wait near their window for your order. 3) You can sit down inside for full service. 4) Their window is open from opening to closing. 5) The inside of their restaurant closes at 7PM. MYSUGGESTIONSATAHN’S QUARTERPOUNDBURGER: 1) To avoid waiting too long for your food either order there before 11AM before breakfast or after 3PM for lunch and dinner. 2) I would say their least busiest times are between 3PM and 7PM on weekdays, and sometimes on weekends too.

I «used to» Love eating here… but somethings that shouldn’t have changed have and vise-a-verse which is too Bad!!! The food was ALWAYS mediocre but the fact that it’s been here for a while and the smiles made it all tolerable but unfortunately the smiles have gone and the attitude has stepped on in Sad to say but now I realize that the food Sucks!!! Especially for the price, I mean I’ve put up with a hell of a lot for culinary quality but nothing like the entitlement and rudeness that I exhibited recently @Ahn’s Mystery Meat Hut… it’s BullShit especially for What they have to offer which is all attitude and poor quality??? Sad But True!!!

One step up from in and out burger and 2 steps down from Barneys. Definitely ok if you’re getting lit at the lake but not worth taking a detour for. The fries are humongous. Share with a friend or split with the guy behind you in line.

So I ate here before it closed and once since the reopen recently. Thank goodness they did the reopen because it’s significantly improved. As a girl with Southern roots, I love my meat. And when you can’t cook a decent burger, then I seriously question your culinary skills. For those that know me, I love bacon cheeseburgers so I went with this for my meal with French fries. Service: slow. Don’t be in a rush. I sat inside at the counter to wait and be served. There seemed to only be three(3) people working which means they were wearing multiple hats. I sympathize but nonetheless, it was still slow. Food: the bacon was perfect and not too salty. Too much can be overpowering and not enough makes me wonder where it is. I also didn’t have to question where’s the beef. The party was decently sized. Condiments were par. French fries were crinkle cut which was fun because they’re not as common. The food was also hot. While it took a while, I would prefer to eat hot food so thank you!!! Price: higher than I expected but not outrageous. Nothing to complain about at all. Three stars overall. It’s close and convenient but I’m not sure it’s the place I would highly recommend for a bomb burger yo. It will do the job and hey, at the end of the day it’s burgers, shakes, and fries. All American.

So happy this place finally reopened! I was so worried with all the changes that are happening by the lake. I love their crinkle cut fries but this morning, we stopped by for breakfast. The hash browns were crispy and the pancakes were thick but fluffy. And where else can you get an Oreo milkshake with breakfast?!? Their prices have gone up a little, but if you take into account the new minimum wage, property values by the lake, and their renovation, paying an extra $ 1.50 isn’t a stretch. Let’s keep this place going! A great place for a delicious no-frills burger, fries, and shake.

So excited this place reopened… Just a few short blocks away from where I work. I came here for lunch today, their prices have gone up a bit but that’s to be expected. I took a pic of their new menu for you all to see. Looks pretty much the same on the inside. Let’s get to the food — YUM! Incredibly fresh & great quality ingredients. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside & lightly seasoned. The burger was great. I asked for no tomatoes or mustard & added grilled onions. No part of the meal was greasy & that’s really important to me. The couple times I’ve been to True Burger down the road the food was dripping with grease. I’ll definitely be back. Can’t wait to try their breakfast.

AHN’S BURGERISBACKINBUSINESS!!! Newly renovated and improved! I never missed a burger so much in my life until ahns closed down. I was so sad to see it go but its back and im gonna stuff my freaking face with these delicious burgers. Burgers are exactly the way I like it and how they used to be. Greasy and drippy as burgers should be. Tell them to make their fries well done and theyll get em nice and crunchy for you. The fries are my girlfriends favorite part but I always order a double bacon cheeseburger for a more succulent meal craving. This has always been and always will be our favorite neighborhood greasy burger joint. It’s a dying breed among all these fancy ass burger places with their artisan spicy wasabi mustard mayo aoli with the lemon. No thanks. I like my burgers the way ahns makes em simply delicious. I hope they never go away away again. Everyone that used to go to ahns will again have their burger fix. Just to give all the OG ahns burger patrons a heads up. Prices have changed a bit so its a little more expensive probably to keep up with«that hipster place down the way» Gentrification at its finest I suppose. At least we can count on this joint to remain true to itself. Thanks for coming back Ahn’s Burger. Please dont go away again!

This place has the best burgers and fries in the Bay Area. Their vegi burger w/cheese and grilled onions tastes just like a regular hamburger, which helps when your a newbie to the vegetarian world. They’ve been closed for about a month now but I read on their FB page that they had a fire back in February, so hopefully they will be able to re-open soon.

I love where I live. I really do. I have the luxury of being able to walk to this beautiful burger joint. Simple burger joint menu that has recently updated to add some seafood and onion rings. If you don’t feel like waiting the five or so minutes, you can call in and it will be ready by the time you get there. Their cheeseburger is amazing. Medium rare, juicy, fresh, and delicious. Their buns are soft and hold their burgers perfectly. Red onions are a nice touch since I’m not a big fan of onion to begin with. The fries are pretty good. Good amount of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. I recently tried their onion rings and they were alright, but a bit dark, maybe a little too crunchy. Better than any drive thru– even my favorite drive-thru In-n-Out. Great location in the edge of the park on the North side of the lake. On a nice summer day you can grab a burger and then sit and enjoy it in the grass with a lake view.
