It was time for a haircut, so I went with my brother to Elaine Salon. The location is located in the building where Quickly and other hair salons is located. As you walk in Elaine Salon, its walls are colored with purple with a few cabinets colored white, which really makes it easy on the eyes. The walls have a couple of pictures showing what many different kinds of hairstyles and hair colors one can decide upon. The pictures are very modern and keeps up with the trends nowadays compared to other hair salons. We were seated quickly and Elaine had given both me and my brother a trim. It was really nice compared to other salons and I really loved it. The total time (including my brother and I) it took to trim our hair was around 20ish-​25ish minutes which is quite fast comparing to other salons that I have previosly went to. Not only did our haircuts turn out really well, it was done pretty quickly too. We paid and left after that. I will certainly be coming back for highlights among other things. :D

This place is a gem. I go here every month to get my hair cut. One would expect every shop in Chinatown to have rude employees, but the shop owner, Elaine, was very kind and courteous. This shop is hard to find because of the inconvenient location. I do not know what happened with customers who gave low ratings. Neal B’s rating does not seem credible in any way, especially after rating a nearby competitor five stars. If you are searching for a place with fast, thorough, and great haircuts, Elaine salon is the place to go!

I got my hair permed recently at this salon by the owner, Elaine. Ever since I got this perm all my friends have complimented it and I am loving it!

The haircuts given is horrid. The problem was that the old owner of Katy salon is STILL HERE. I went thinking I don’t have to see her anymore, but then she was there, she stared at me with hatred. I sat down and she immediately told me in Chinese something I don’t unde rstand. I think she wanted me to leave, cause she just stood there looking at me. I left after that because I don’t feel welcome there.
