Food was meh. server was friendly. The lady behind the counter was incredibly rude. We will not return. The Egg and You is a much better breakfast.

Not much to say other that it’s your typical diner with dependable food and incredibly friendly service. You can sit there at the bar or at a table and watch the short-order cook do his magic. Everything is fresh and the menu consists of your typical diner staples. The prices are rock bottom and make this a great bang for the buck given the quality. Most importantly, you’re always felt welcome and part of the family. I’m a big fan of their biscuits and sausage gravy, which I think is one of the best in town. Great all-around place for a quick breakfast any day of the week.

Foods okay… Portions adequate even for hungry diners. My only gripe is $ 1.95 for coffee… and it’s not bad… but no one offers a refill… so it’s really more expensive than Starbucks

We have visited twice so far and have every intention of returning again. The first visit was just thirty minutes from closing time and the service was excellent and not rushed at all. The food was excellent and the staff was pleasant. We went back today with my in-laws for breakfast. Wow! Business was booming! These guys are super busy around 10:00 am! We had a short wait because we needed a booth but there was space at the counter. My mother in law has Alzheimer’s and in spite of their busy day they didn’t make her feel rushed to choose a meal. The server came back to check on us a number of times but we never felt rushed to order.(thanks!) We ordered two different omelettes and blueberry waffles. Everything was tasty and hot. The coffee refills came pretty quickly. I am not a fan of the orange juice though. The service was excellent! Also…you can drop off food for the Wilton Manors Kiwanis Backpack program. We will be back!

Good simple breakfast. Delicious pumpkin pancakes. It’s a bit small but the staff are friendly and quick to respond to your requests.

Our first visit here, and we were pleased. Very friendly local diner. Everything was VERY clean, and the staff makes you feel like you are having breakfast in Grandma’s kitchen. Food was fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced for South Florida. We will definitely be back for seconds!

Great breakfast joint. Friendly service, good food, and reasonable prices. The waitstaff are efficient and friendly. Food is prepared perfectly. It seems to be crowded all the time and there is a reason why. I have eaten there at least ten times and never had a bad meal.

This is a little gem. Very clean, affordable, and the food tastes homemade. When I was there over the weekend I ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, and grits. The gravy really tasted like sausage and I even detected a hint of sage. Delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a meal with bacon. The bacon is plain, not thick or anything, but it was nicely crisped. Our servers were all quite friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

This is one of the worst restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Bar None. Service isn’t good, and neither is the food. They didn’t have sausage, and their corned beef was awful.

I am definitely going to have to come back here and give it a second chance, but based on my first experience I was really put off. The main thing that bothered me was the over charging. I ordered a broccoli and cheddar omelette. I changed the cheddar to american and they charged me a dollar for the change. They also charged each of us an extra dollar for a biscuit instead of toast, after they told us we could supplement it. So a 7.50 omelette came to be 9.50, with no extra additions. It’s not that big of a difference but it still kind of bothered me. These omelettes are very thin so they have a more fried flavor than other restaurants I go to. Mine was very runny on the inside, which made it inedible for me. The biscuits were good and so were the homefries. My boyfriends hashbrowns reminded me of the ones at Denny, but he seemed to like the omelette. The coffee was good, although I had to walk up to the counter to get a refill. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The woman, who I presume owns it, asked us how we found them and seemed generally interested in if we enjoyed the meal. I didn’t have the heart to tell her about the eggs, but I probably should have. I did like the small business feel of it.

Took an associate for breakfast. Slow service made worse by woman behind counter barking orders at wait staff. My omelet was not completely cooked. I did not dare say anything. I would go back to see if this was an issolated occourance.

I went here this morning based on the reviews and it didn’t fail. The place was just what I was looking for. Homey local place where the cook and waitress knew everyone that came in. Lots of laughter and my eggs with biscuits and gravy and tater tots were spot on. I took an extra order of biscuits and gravy to go for my honey and he enjoyed them too. The place got really busy as 9am closed in and I knew it was the place for bfast in the area.

We first went here a few years ago on our never ending quest to find new breakfast places. This is now a place we frequent on the weekends. We love the specials because they always have something new and usually seasonal. Last year we went there for my first Mother’s Day and my breakfast was completely free. So sweet and unexpected! It’s family owned and they are always so friendly and welcoming. They also have the best biscuits and sausage gravy in town!

First time here. Table of five handsome men sit down before us. Server spent most of his time at the table explaining specials, choices and chatting endlessly. We waited for 15 mins before he asked what we wanted to drink. Brought our coffee and simply asked«so you know what you want»? No specials, no choices, no chatting… No return …

I love this place, the owner Cathy is great and friendly, she makes all the pies, cakes and all specialty breads. On Thursday’s she makes homemade turkey dinners with all the fixings, plus pie $ 13.95 you cannot beat that. All meats and poultry comes daily fresh from«Smithy ‘s Meat Market». Breakfast and lunch, both great, and prices are reasonable, where else can you get a cheese burger with choice of salad of the day or fries, tots etc. for $ 6.95? Everyone is family here! Stop by for a bite whilst in the area. YOUWILLNOTBEDISAPPOINTED!

Belly Buster breakfast of fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy, two eggs, four slices of bacon, and tater tots($ 9.95) was fantastic! The sausage gravy had a perfect amount of fennel. Waitress was a super friendly gal! Wish I had known about this place before we head out of the country… Only made it once, but I’m a fan!!!

This is a cutesy little café/diner that is good for breakfast. The waitresses make you feel at home the whole time you are there with Southern type charm. We have been there two times which says a lot.
