This place is an awesome blast from the past. After a visit to the Brewery, walked over around 6PM on a Saturday to an awesome bartender quite knowledgeable in his beers. There are TV screens with attached consoles throughout the place. They have multiple gaming platforms with games you have surely forgotten from your childhood. It felt like hanging in your best friend’s garage after a day at school. Only with beer.

This place is awesome! We were here not too long ago for the Mortal Kombat tournament even though we weren’t excellent players, everyone was kind enough to lend a hand and just be there to enjoy the game. The beers that they have available are good and the service is great. They make their bar feel like a home away from home as soon as you’ve entered and of course, there is the fact that you can play some video games while drink.

What an awesome place! A true hidden gem in every sense of the word! Wonderful vibe, great and friendly staff(Lucky, the bartender was super cool and gave us a rundown on how everything works), and a great selection of craft beers and sodas, some of which come straight from the Funky Buddha Brewery right across the street! Best of all, the games on hand are practically limitless! Pretty much every old school game you can think of is up for play! Did I mention? They’re all free to play!!! Everyone was having a great time. Absolutely no complaints. This is a truly awesome place!

Yams has the most energy I’ve ever seen. If he isn’t the owner — he should be. We were greeted by him, behind the bar, when we first walked in. He asked if it was our first visit and proceeded to explain the concept. There’s various TVs and controllers along the bar so you can play old school video games. Then the wall behind you is stacked with gaming systems to play other, more modern games and last but not least in the little nook by the entrance there are TVs to play even more games. All this gaming makes me thirsty. A pretty bomb selection of craft beers are served here. All reasonably priced. They only had about 4 – 5 taps, but a good bottle/can selection. I sipped on a stout from 5 Rabbits and played Donkey Kong and Mario Bros for a couple of hours. I forgot how difficult these games are to play! It was a blast. Yams — was a highlight of the evening. What an outgoing guy! Every time he’d reset our system so we can play other games he’d say…1.2.3 …CANDELA! … This was because he electrocuted him self once resetting the system after having some beer on his hands. Never forget. I almost didn’t want to write this review as I’m now scared even more people will find out about it… and the place will become even more packed. It’s not a huge spot… so I can easily see them suffering from being too successful. For now, I’m stoked to have another unique business in Broward-Palm Beach that’s serving up cold brews! Wish them nothing but success!

Another Castle wins! Thank you Unilocal!I would have never found out about this place, and it’s literally right across the street from Funky Buddha! Never been to a place like this before it was like I went back in time through a time machine and became surrounded by so much greatness, and nostalgia! The atmosphere is very friendly, chill, and the service is on point! The beer selection they have is solid with great prices too! They offer many different games to play with and tons of TVs set up while you enjoy your cold brewski! Another cool feature about this place is the vast amount of artwork on display inside, and I believe some of the items are for sale too! I don’t want to make this a lengthy review, just go ahead and check the place out for yourself! I’ll definitely be coming back to play some rounds of smash, cheers!

What a great place! This place is so chill, go drink good beers and play video games. Last weekend was my first time, and the bartender was so cool and nice when I told him I’ve never had any of the beer there. He asked what kind of beer I liked and suggested a draft beer(305) and it was a hit! I had a couple of those while I played video games with my friends and it was a fun night! I just wish it could be open late! But I guess 2am is late enough. I just didn’t wanna leave :) coming back for sure!

SEGA: NINTENDO: PLAYSTATION: XBOX : A Gamers Bar with the FUN Built In! Thanks to awesome Unilocal Friends I noticed this Hot and New Spot that was definitely a must to check out! We wanted to go on a Tuesday when it is Kill The Keg Night! 2 for 1 on all drafts ALL night long! They also have Tournament Night & Fight Night on Wednesday and Thursday’s! Check out their Facebook Page before planning your visit! I had no idea this place is located right across from Funky Buddha in the small strip mall facing the road. They have some parking right in front with also a free lot to park in right next door. HOURS– Mon-Wed 5pm-12am Thurs-Sat 5pm– 2am Sunday 1pm-12am First impression walking in was WOW WoW WOW! The theme is full throttle GAMING! Everywhere you look you will find a gaming system hooked up to one of your favorite old school games! Additionally, it is pretty dark and has the feel of a mega awesome downstairs basement; not bar. They have couches with the big box TV’s set up, standing games hooked up to actual gaming systems such as PlayStation, XBOX, and Wii, then they have The Bar! The bar is set up with an emulator for all the gaming. All for a total of about 15 gaming spots. As for the games you will find all sorts of the good oldies although come to think of it Duck Hunt I did not see and would of loved to play. They have a large assortment and also games in the back you can ask for but we did not. Favorites such as Sonic the Hedgehog– Super Mario Kart– Donkey Kong– Tetris– LOTS Fighting Games(like Mortal Combat) — Mario Kart– And More! Now to the Beer; we were a little disappointed with the selection of drafts. Only 6 on tap and not much of a variety. Seeming a bit odd they were all Funky Buddha highly sweet beers or the dark dark porters. They do have two large refrigerator cases full of Bottled and Canned Beer with a small selection of Sodas and Bottled Water. Including a simple 4 item Wine List. We also found their prices to be a bit on the higher side for their drafts. With such a great concept and theme this gaming bar is something different and fun for everyone to enjoy but keep it for the Big Kids Only!

Beers and video games. I mean come on. We finally got around to checking this place out last night. It wasn’t too busy and it was easy to grab some games to play. My favorite game though was Smash Bros 4 and it was great playing against good players so I had a blast. They have a pretty good selection of beers and the staff was friendly.

Another Castle is so much fun that I find myself itching to return. It’s a bar like no other because it’s a Craft Beer bar with a classic video game vibe. We came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy with people enjoying beers and playing games in front of the multiple stations in the bar. It wasn’t hard to find our favorite game and we didn’t have to wait long to start the gaming. The chosen game of the night was Smash Bros 4 and we had a blast playing with the other patrons of the bar. This is a great place to meet new people. They have an impressive beer list and I had no problem finding beers that I liked. They had a handful on tap and a lot of bottled and canned beers. The whole atmosphere here is so relaxed, everyone is in a great mood and there’s tons of games to play. The room is decorated with fan art of different games, films, and the like. They have kill the keg nights on Tuesdays where they offer 2 for 1 drafts and they also have tournaments. I felt like I was at home, and everyone there was my friend and we all were there to have fun. It’s a very positive place, and I can’t wait to go back.

Dun na na na na na. Dun na na na na na. Dun na na na na na. I’m singing the Mario Bros. song, can’t you tell? This place is pretty great. Apparently just opened and I’m happy to finally have something like this in our area. I’ve gone to similar places in other cities and always longed for a beercade in our town. It’s located right across from the Funky Buddha in that little strip mall area. When you walk in you feel like your in some sort of nerd lair and I say that with absolutely love because everyone there is so freaking nice. The bartender said, «if you see someone playing s game alone, join them. Make a friend. Have fun. That’s what this place is for.» There is no better spirit than that. Oh, THEGAMESAREFREE! There is no charge. Just go in and have a good time. The guy who I believed to be the owner or at least manager was just as cool. He talked to me about how it just opened last week and that they’ve had some glitches but things were good. There are tons of cool art on the wall that’s for sale. It seemed pretty inexpensive overall. The games. Anything your inner child wants is there. It’s a mix of old school games which, if you feel like you need to be taken back to those days of blowing into the Nintendo cartridge– you can or you can play on one of the emulator stations they have set up. I would say there are about 15 – 20 consoles total. We had no trouble waiting for any games. The music is great. Lots of 90’s music played that is then mixed in with video game theme music. Just a really cool vibe. They sell a variety of beer and bottled soda. It’s a nice break from the typical bar scene. I hope it lasts because I love it here. I know I will be spending a lot of time here in the future. If anyone is up for playing some Mario Kart, let me know. Loser buys next round.
