My band played worship here for a men’s retreat on the weekend. Had a great time. The staff is awesome, the food was good and the facilities are excellent. Would love to come back some day and just chill.

My favorite childhood/teen memories are about camp at Sugar Pine! 30 years later, my son & niece go every year!

Sugar Pine Christian Camps is a fine place north of Oakhurst, just off Highway 41 on the way to Yosemite. The grounds are beautiful with creeks, brooks, and ponds. The facilities, though older, are well kept with updates made on regular basis. The site can be rented out to groups. It is a fine place to get away and reflect on life.

I LOVESUGARPINE! The staff are wonderful, caring, sweet, generous people. Their program camps are great. I worked at their summer camp for 4th-6th graders for 3 summers. If I don’t move into Whole Foods then I will move here and live forever at camp!(The smell of bear clover should be made into a cologne and will probably be what heaven smells like.) They have winter and summer camps for grades 4 – 12, as well as family camps and women’s and men’s retreats, mother/daugher, father/son. I will be taking a few kids next week up there for their first week of summer camp and I cannot wait! One of the perks of working in children’s ministry. I also met and married my husband here. ;)
