Tanya and her husband were fantastic photographers for our wedding. They were such wonderfully talented, and happy-​friendly people. We got married at Tenaya Lodge, and we had such amazing photographs from our actual wedding ceremony and reception. We also had Tanya shoot us the day after our wedding in Yosemite, and Tanya made it so easy. She planned out about a 5-​hour shoot across various locations in Yosemite National Park, and we just went along for the breathtaking ride! Not only do we love the photographs capturing our special moments, but we have the gorgeous backdrop of Yosemite as well. I truly couldn’t recommend Tanya more from a talent perspective, a personality perspective, and from an affordability perspective. If you are getting married in the Yosemite area, you should definitely work with Tanya. Thanks again Tanya!

Using Photography from the Heart was the best decision we made when choosing vendors for our wedding in June 2005. Tanya is by far the best photographer I have ever worked with and I’ve had some bad experiences with other photographers. You will not be disappointed in her work and she is so pleasant and great to work with.
Since our wedding in 2005 we have used her 6 or 7 more times and every time she out does herself. We have 3 kids now and she has taken pictures with all of them before birth and after. She has an amazing ability to get unbelievable pics even with kids. If you have kids in your wedding party or taking family photos look no further.

I can’t wait for Tanya to photograph our wedding! During the planning process, she has been very patient and helpful. Her relaxed and friendly personal style is just right for us — and she is totally open to whatever style of photography we want for the big day. She has tons of experience and her prices are very reasonable.
I really like the fact that she’s local to Yosemite, unlike some of the other photogs we were considering — the San Fran people are super talented but much more expensive and not nearly as familiar with Yosemite or the other vendors in the area. Tanya has been able to give us some helpful suggestions and knows our wedding venue like the back of her hand.
