Esposito’s is place to buy seafood-​period. Even after moving out of the area, I still venture 25 minutes out of my way a few times a month to stop and pick up healthy food options. As a paleo eater this place rocks for shrimp, salmon and the steamers here are seriously restaurant quality (maybe even better) for half the price. After a long day at the beach, pick up cooked food to go or take it home to cook yourself! John, the owner is always friendly as well as his entire crew. Chances are you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if its a big holiday weekend or Christmas Eve-​its always best to call ahead to reserve your order! Happy eating!!!

Got a whole red snapper this past Summer for part of a family BBQ. I stuffed it with fresh herbs from sis’ garden, rubbed with olive oil, garlic, wrapped in foil, on to the grill, & it came out amazing! Also got the parents some of the steamers, which were good sized. Will always go here, when visiting family not to far away. Wait, going for Thanks giving, so will be stopping in to grab something from the case, or call ahead to see what I can pre-​order :-)

Was on our way to long branch beach but was craving seafood. did a quick Unilocal this places popped up. Glad we did. had the freshest fish sandwich & soft shell crab sandwich. Go give them a try!

Best Seafood market in New Jersey without any doubt. I’ve been going here for years during the summer and drive all the way down in the winter for my Christmas Eve family dinner. Great staff and the manager really knows his stuff and he has no problem answering all of your questions. Most places get annoyed when you ask too many questions but he seems to love interacting with his customers and that is another reason why I will never go anywhere else.

Hands down the freshest seafood in the area. I used to buy fish at my local grocery store until the past few times the fish actually smelled like fish (not supposed to happen!) I was told by an employee that the fish department doesn’t clean the trays every night (eww), thus the fishy stench.
If you’re looking for something special they can help you. The prices are great. The customer service is wonderful. Everyone that works there is extremely knowledgable, John usually helps me and he’s always very friendly. Not to mention, you’re supporting local business. I wouldn’t buy from anywhere else!
