Fort Pitt Motel

We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! The room has a very cozy homey feel, not your typical hotel where every room is exactly the same. Budget friendly but definitely clean and safe from our experience so far! I would choose this place over a chain hotel any day.

BAIT AND SWITCH!
Beware, on their website they advertise that their King Suite is $ 140. However after they take your card information for the reservation they inform you that their rooms have increased to $ 210! When you inform them of their website rates they explain that their website is «old» and the rooms have been renovated so they increased the rate, just not the website! At least they informed us of the rate increase instead of allowing us to find out after they charged our card.
/​The site designer is listed right on the site so they couldn’t have forgotten who they originally used. It would take less than 10 minutes time to update the code. Not an expensive fix.
/​/​I marked this motel as pricey considering you could easily get a room Downtown for this price using a discount hotel reservation site.

Incredibly rude. Called for information and was treated like I’d interrupted Sunday dinner.
Apparently attempting to make a reservation isn’t a good enough reason to get these people to pick up their phone.
