Pearle Vision

Marcea is the reason I’m a fan! I chose Pearle because of my insurance, and I chose this location because of Sunday hours. They have a great selection of frames and lens options. Due to a couple of errors, I was ready to write a horrible review but Marcea called me and found out what happened. She explained what she would put in place to make sure it doesn’t happen to another customer, and offered me home delivery. If there were more managers like her, shopping would be a great experience.

The staff at Pearl Vision, especially Umair Hussain, are very helpful, pleasant, and make the experience of buying eyeglasses enjoyable. Umair took the time with us to help find the right frames, explain how our insurance worked, and made sure we were completely satisfied. We were so satisfied with our service that within a week came back for two different family members. Most glasses available within an hour or so which is great. Highly recommend.

VERY DECEPTIVE!!! I called to find out if they make glasses in about an hour as I had heard advertised. I was told that they do. I then booked an appointment online for my father. I already knew that they are over priced from a previous visit with my daughter, but my father is in desperate need of new glasses after breaking his in a fall. We go for the appointment, choose glasses, and it was not until AFTER my father had paid that they informed us that it would take a week for his glasses to come in! Had I known that his lenses needed to be ordered, I could have taken him somewhere cheaper. And they told me the only reason they need to be orders is because they are bifocals. This could have been mentioned when I called. I do not recommend this highly deceptive and very over priced company. Walmart vision center is ¼ of the cost, same quality, and I got my glasses from them in two days.
*Update– ¾/​16: received a call from Marceia, the store manager, who personally apologized for no one offering a solution for my father. She quickly had reading glasses made for him, so that he could see his newspaper and read his mail until his new glasses arrive. I would suggest talking to Marceia if you have any issues at this location. Raising my stars from 1 to 3.

Great at selling ya what is wrong for you. $ 500 glasses that won’t stay together. They say it’s because of my job. Talked in depth about my job while she was selling me the glasses.

I will not go anywhere else! The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. the mgr. Marcela is the best of the best! always a smile and a friendly
glasses are great? When I take them in for adjustment not only do I look better, she makes me feel better about myself!

This was my first experience with Pearle Vision, and I must say that I’m impressed. Everyone here had a great personality and a welcoming air of professionalism. Dr. Hene was confident and kind, as well as quick! The whole staff worked with me to suit my needs, and I’m seeing better than ever.

Marci and her staff are extremely courteous and well beyond to accommodate me and to find the perfect pair of glasses. The service and turn around time was fast!

The service levels at this location have been steadily decreasing since my first review and tonight’s experience truly confirmed this fact. After receiving a post card, email, and text reminder of an automatically scheduled appointment which was set up to be one year from my previous visit, I decided to cancel the appointment since I no longer live in the area. I called to let the staff know I would not be able to keep the appointment that was automatically scheduled for me, and a gentleman answered the phone. After explaining the situation to him, he shouted with a very rude attitude that there were no appointments scheduled for that day. No joke! After picking my jaw up from off of the floor due to utter shock, I said «thank you» and hung up. Even though I won’t ever deal with this location again, I refuse to be a patron of any other locations.

Marcia is amazing. …the staff is very friendly and definitely makes you feel like it’s all about you. I’ve wanted colored contacts forever and finally I could get them but it was difficult pickin which color looked more natural. But the staff helped me decide. Including the doctor. And once they came in I tried them on and I loved them and the staff did too. I am never going anywhere else for my or my husband’s eyes.

Recently visited the Oakbrook Terrace Pearle Vision with an issue with glasses purchased in Florida. Was greeted as soon as we walked in and promptly helped by Josephine. Josephine provided excellent service. Very knowledgeable. Although Josephine could not fix the glasses since they were made by an out of state store she still spent over an hour with us trying to assist. Gave several suggestions and guidance on how we need to get the glasses problem resolved.
Josephine knew that she was not going to gain any revenue on the glasses but did not let that stop her from providing exceptional service.
Service like this speak highly for the Oakbrook Terrace Pearle Vision store and Josephine.

We decided to visit this Pearl Vision store. So, so glad we did. Upon walking in we were greeted (which I personally like). We sat down with an awesome store manager Marciea, she know all about eyes. She was very professional, knowledgeable and serious about educating you on how important regular eye exams are, my husband who thinks he still has ²⁰⁄₂₀ (smile) was very receptive to listening thanks to MARCIEA! Checked our insurance to make sure we would be in network, explained exactly what was covered and not covered. My husband now can see with his new found glasses!!! BIG THANKS TO MARCIEA!!! Will for sure return to this location!

Outstanding experience, amazing customer service, great attitude. I loved my visit to this Pearle Vision location, and so will you. When you go, ask for Josephine. Not only was she knowledgable and helpful, she also had the most wonderful, positive attitude. As an owner of a business, I wish I had employees as competant and helpful as Josephine. Give this person a raise!

My insurance was accepted and I was finally able to get a new pair of frames as well as stronger prescription. The staff was very helpful and super patient, which is a plus for me because I am very picky when it comes to finding glasses. I was able to get my frames the same day and a box of contact lens ordered. I would highly recommend coming here.

It was my first time getting glasses at this place. I walked in and had the grat experience. All the ladies vere so nice and helpfull. Especialy Marciea! She helped me choose my glasses and she answered all my questions. I had grate customer experience because of Marciea. I highly recomed this place! Thank you!!!

Staff was very professional and pleasant. Always greeted me the minute I walked in the door. Was very helpful in selecting the right size frames. The optometrist was among the best I have worked with.

I wish I had the chance to review the doctor, but since I didn’t see her I can’t. My daughter had a simple kindergarten eye exam scheduled for 12:30. We arrived on time, filled out the necessary paper work and took a seat. Over thirty minutes later I inquired when the appointment might be, it would be at least another 10 – 15 minutes. Really? What is the point of making an appointment if you can’t keep it? I asked for my papers back and the staff seemed really confused that I was leaving and kept trying to reschedule me. Why would I want to come back somewhere that has no value for anyone’s time? No thanks!

Being new to the area I am pleased to have found such accommodating service and quality products.
The staff and management are friendly and very help full.
I highly recommend this Brand and in particular this location.

The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The only thing I would say is that they seem to overbook appointments. I fully admit that going to an appointment on a weekend is always going to be busy, but this is the second time I’ve gone and people were complaining to the office coordinator that they had been waiting 45 minutes for their appointment. (I didn’t have to wait that long though). It may have just been a case of people coming in late or taking longer than expected, but just something to keep in mind if you’d like to get in and get out quickly.

Larry, the manager, is a class act! He followed up with me, offered a refund then sent me a hand written letter. Your kindness went a long way, thank you!!!

This was the best service and exam I have ever had. Dr. Hene was so thorough and patient. It took a long time an many trials to fit my bifocal contacts but she did an awesome job and never tried to rush me. And it was at the end of the day too.
Kenya was so helpful and lots of fun. She helped both me and my daughter find the perfect frames.
We certainly will return there again.
