This is a good place for a fast and delicious pizza. It’s had a nice atmosphere and it was clean. The service was good and my pizza was made fast. I got the BBQ Chicken pizza and I was not disappointed. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a fast and easy place to eat pizza.

Came here for the 1st time this past Monday the 13th around 6:30pm. It was great!!! The customer service was a nice surprise. The pizza makers were personable and carried on a conversation. They explained the process and offered us extra sauce one the pizza once it came out of the oven. My guy even put my pizza back in the oven to get it a little more toasty– I didn’t have to ask him to do this. Second visit today on the 15th @ 4pm a completely different crew and HORRIBLE customer service. No eye contact, no smile, were chintzy with ingredients, pizza was soggy. They acted as if it was a bother for them to make our pizza– a big inconvenience to them. The manager spent more time on the phone rather than ensuring customers were satisfied. I wasn’t offered any finishes. When I did ask for a «finish», I was looked at like I had 5 heads!!! Not sure if I’ll be back. Ok here’s an update to today’s bad service. Just prior to us leaving, the manager of Blaze asked us how things were. I informed her of our experience today, which she apologized for. She did mention that they were down a person and that some«things» were going on just before we got there. She hoped that we give Blaze another chance– which I probably will.

Unmitigated disaster. First the app makes us go through the order twice before I give up and call it in. Then they tell me they don’t take phone orders. The place gets great reviews so I put up with the aggravation of trying the app again(this time, outside of Unilocal). That works, so I arrive there at 6:35, precisely the time I was required to check in. Tack on 2 – 3 more minutes to get the cashiers attention and after I do so, it’s yet another 3 – 4 minutes before then they are even fired. 5 minutes after that, they out of the oven cooling down for 3 – 4 minutes before anyone thinks about boxing them. When that eventually happens, I’m offered both my pizzas and told to have a nice night… without either of the salads I ordered. Then, the girl takes several more minutes to make a couple of salads. I expected to be in and out in 7 – 10 minutes but it took more than double that. At the end of it all, the pizza was mediocre at best. My wife’s had no sauce and mine had way too much. The only good thing about this whole ordeal were the Caprese salads. In fact, they were some of the best I’ve had in recent memory. They were the only bright spot of this dark experience that I will never repeat.

Love this place! It is like a subway for pizza. You are able to choose everything-crust, sauce, toppings, and finishes. Great place to grab a quick lunch(or dinner).

The food here is amazing! The staff was very friendly too when explaining how everything worked during our first visit. Frankly, 5 stars isn’t enough.

Okay, think Subway(just in the sense that you go through the line and design your food)…but for pizza(and much fresher and refreshing)! You get to personalize your pizza as much or as little as you want. The staff are all wonderful and friendly and let you put every single thing on your pizza that you could possibly want. You can get everything from spicy sauce to various cheeses like fresh mozzarella or feta. The concept is great and it always comes out very tasty. It’s on the pricier side for«fast food», but the whole idea of this place is spot on. They execute it well and I’ve already been there twice and it just opened a couple of months ago. Toppings are fresh, pizza is tasty, and people were nice. It’s not glamorous or the best pizza on the planet, but what’s not to like for a quick lunch or busy weeknight dinner?

Was looking to get some dinner at 9pm, many places already were closed. I decided to try this place ands I’m glad I did. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, fair prices and delicious! I’m pretty picky when it comes to pizza(from NJ originally). I went with a build your own, chose sauce, cheese and fresh toppings. I made a white pizza with a couple different cheeses and several veggies. They fired it up in the oven in a timely manner and I was out the door. Had to sample a slice in the car & thumbs up! Highly recommended.

Daughter brought me here — loved the build-your-own concept, loved the thin crust — fast friendly service also a plus — will return! There are 3 Chicago locations of which I’m aware but all downtown — boo. Bring one to Grand and Harlem area!

Blaze pizza is amazing and I wish I had invested in this place because it’s going to be everywhere soon! Every pizza, whether it be a signature pizza or you build your own, is only $ 7.95. It’s thin crust pizza made lightning fast. And no extra charge for extra toppings. Each pizza is made exactly the way you want it, and fast fired in only 3 minutes! It’s subway speed and pricing, but gourmet pizza!

This is a great place to go if you’re in a hurry for lunch. My sister and I were in and out within 30 minutes. We both ordered the Meat Eater, one of their signature pizza’s. It’s topped with pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, red onion, mozzarella, and red sauce. I added giardiniera on mine and she added pepperoncini and jalapenos on hers. The pizzas are about 12″ and the crust are thin. They’re put into their fast fired pizza oven, so when they come out they’re nice and crispy, except the very middle, that was a little soft. The sauce is a little sweet for my liking. These fast fired pizza joints are popping up all over the place and Blaze is quite convenient for me. Plus lunch under $ 10? Count me in.

The 2 takeaways that made this place better than their competitors: 1. Personalization. They treat you as a person by addressing you by name when telling you about how to create your pizza and what you want to add when you get to the sauces, proteins, veggies. 2. Cook times are not standardized. There isn’t a timed track since some toppings are combinations take longer than others. They are primarily checking the bottom but they are at least checking the toppings to make sure they are done as well. The price point is fair for the variety that you can have for all kinds of toppings. I would highly recommend that they don’t put as many toppings in the middle of the pizza since it is very difficult to eat with your hands. After it is sliced, the point of the pizza slice is the middle of the pizza and it can get wet after ordering a pesto sauce, marinated red peppers, meatballs, or other toppings that don’t want to cling to a hot pizza slice. Still, it is fast food pizza so go in with appropriate expectations.

Blaze pizza has mastered the customized personal pizza. For under $ 8 you can choose any combination of toppings. Even cheaper options if you limit your toppings. Blaze is my absolute favorite«fast casual» restaurant concept. Ordering is straightforward, and the results are pleasantly predictable. Bonus points for options available to those allergic to cheese or gluten. Their fake cheese and gluten-free crust are not bad.(I prefer the regular crust and choices of standard cheeses, such as the gorganzola. But good to know you can bring your allergic friend here and they wont suffer.) The new Roosevelt Road Blaze location has some of the friendliest service I’ve seen for this kind of counter service. Happy employees make for a happy experience.

Visited with two non adventurous tweens so we just had a traditional cheese pizza. It was still delicious. Everyone was very friendly. It was clean and quick. Would definitely go back. Bonus was the free pizza coupon from the mailer!

OK it’s fast cooked pizza, if you want something different go order down the street at Gullivers that will take longer and cost more money. I loved my pizza! For the price, taste and options it was really good. I will definitely be back. WAY better than most other pizza places. Loved the different crust and sauce options as well as tons of meat and veggie options. I took my pizza home and it still tasted great! Excited For This new Location

I wanted to like Blaze because it’s in a convenient location for me. I came during the first week and ordered one of the pre-made options and they gave me a BOGO coupon to come back. I’ve tried almost all of the fast casual pizza places out there – Pie Five, UBuild, Presto – but of all of them, Blaze is my least favorite. I came back today for the BOGO and ordered the veggie(add sausage) and the link. The link was decent and reminds me of a pizza I like from another pizza place, but it didn’t have near enough toppings. The veggie ended up being pretty soggy. The pizza will run you about $ 9. Not bad, but go to UBuild for the same price with a drink included. I really like the crust. It’s super thin, but this could also be why it gets soggy if there’s too many toppings. Also, they’re still working out new business kinks. I ordered a veggie and when they got to the veggies, they asked me if I wanted any veggies. I had to read the menu and tell her what was on it. Overall, not bad pizza but not my favorite either.

I’ll start by saying the service was magnificent. The line workers and pizza oven valet’s hustled their tale off… with smiles and intensity on a Thursday lunch in early November. With their hard work(oh, yeah, free coupon) I’ll give it another go just in case I caught it on an off period. However, this is definitely the runt of the litter or «little brother» of the new three quick pizza restaurants near Elmhurst. The value and quality of MOD and Pie Five far outclass blaze. The portion and quality of cheese just isn’t there and the value of what I spent on a pizza and soda to what I felt I received was well below expectation. Once again, because of the service I’ll give it a #2 but the other two are well ahead on the pizza place hit chart!
