I don’t actually go to Weigel’s to see friends, but that’s often what happens. That’s probably because Weigel’s is about the most convenient gas station for a lot of us. Not to mention that fact that much of the time it has the lowest gasoline prices in Oak Ridge.
It’s also a convenience store, and it’s pretty well stocked as convenience stores go. In particular, the Weigel’s chain is locally renowned for its milk. However, I almost never go inside (ssh, don’t tell!) because I just stay under the awning to pump my gas — and pay at the pump.
