Aubrey’s Oak Ridge

Aubrey’s is the place to go if you are in the Oak Ridge area. Service was amazing. I never had an empty glass, menu questions were answered promptly and accurately, and the server was frequently stopping by the table throughout our visit to ask if we needed anything. I strongly recommend the salmon tacos or a burger. Their burgers are cooked to perfection, not dry or overly messy with fresh toppings thrown in top. Of you go with the salmon tacos, definitely ask for some lemon on the side. It helps to mellow the fishy flavor while also amplifying the flavors from the slaw. Deliciously satisfying dining experience.

Aubrey’s is a great spot in oak ridge to enjoy a beer on the patio while playing a little corn hole, epically on 2 $ draft Tuesdays. The food is worth the price and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Their bar area is really nice if your looking for a bar to watch the game wile the restaurant side is very family friendly if your needing to take the in-​laws out to dinner.

Good service, food was above average, I had a chicken-​salad sandwich (was told it would be on a croissant, it was not) and house salad. Overall a good experience, the bread and butter was tasty.

First time visiting Oak Ridge, first restaurant I went to.
The food here is fresh, well seasoned and delicious! The service was great and timely. I ordered the fish and chips. My only hang up is that the fish had some parts (maybe skin) that were very difficult to eat. Other than that, excellent.

Aubrey’s is an upscale outback type restaurant. They have booths tables and a pretty nice bar at the front of the restaurant. It is stand alone building so parking is not a problem. I was with a group for business and did not use the restaurant so cant comment on it. We spent our time in the bar (now that is a surprise) and drank lots of draught beer (+1) as well as a number of appetizers. The chicken fingers, grilled potatoes and nachos were all very good. We also had steak bites, which were in a bowl and sauce with beans and «other stuff». It was tasty but a lot different than expected. Service was prompt and friendly and if the appetizers are any indication of the food, it has to be good. I have to give it a 4+ for food and service. I would go again.

The food is great here and the waitress we had is so nice and polite the potato soup is to die for and the atmosphere is great there is a closed in bar away from the rest of the restaurant the only thing is is that there expensive but other than that it’s a great place to eat!

My family and I have been to this restaurant many times now. We always enjoy our meals there, and usually have food to bring home. One tip is that the small plates are a great size for dinner! The fish and chips make for a good meal by themselves.
This meal we had pork nachos small plate, kids mac ‘n’ cheese, pizza Rockefeller, Bowtie chicken pasta, salmon tacos, and the thunder road burger. Everything was good, although the pizza was cold the first time the brought it out. We informed them not the problem and they made a new one immediately. It was my younger daughter’a birthday, and they offered her a free piece of cheesecake, a piece big enough for all three of the kids to share.
Not a cheap place ($ 86 for the six of us) but still a great place to eat.

Great beer selection, amazing specials deals, enjoyed the food. Got lukewarm soup on one of two visits… no big deal, I’m not in a rush, microwave it for 30 seconds and I’d be happy… if I recall they took the soup off the bill, cut the bill in half, and apologized profusely. No need guys! I’d never go anywhere else when I’m in town.
And don’t any of you Unilocalers dare use this to take advantage of their generosity!

We visit this are often and have never been disappointed. The food and service is always great and the atmosphere is wonderful. We highly recommend Aubrey’s if you live in the area or are just visitors like us.

Cajun chicken soup was soooo good. Always great food and service. And their bar area is the best!

This place is the best place to go on a upscale lunch or fancy dinner in Oak Ridge. The two dishes I got are the ape it curated catfish and the Raging Cajun chicken sandwich. And both have been outstanding.
Sometimes it takes a while to get your food so make sure you have a little extra time on your lunch break.

Chicken tenders are a solid 5-​star, but chicken tenders aren’t why you go to a restaurant, usually…
The sandwiches are pretty solid, but nothing abnormally great.
The real entrees are all pretty underwhelming to be honest. It’s kinda sad that the appetizers and chicken are so great while everything else is «meh.»
It’s a great place for appetizers for sure, but it’s a pretty run-​of-​the-​mill casual eatery otherwise.

We have never been disappointed by the service at Aubrey’s. The food is ok. It would be nice to have more healthy choices beyond the salads. The lemon caper sauce is just tartar sauce with capers, FYI.
I highly recommend the burger with pimento cheese. I believe it’s the Thunder Road burger. Yum! All the salads are delicious too. Friday nights try the prime rib. It’s always great.
The margaritas are sticky sweet. Ok if you like that.
The beer selection and prices are excellent.

They have the same great atmosphere and service you expect to find when you visit an Aubrey’s. The thick cut potato chips were the best we’ve ever had, and then there was our entrée… I ordered the patty melt. It was served with the top slice of bread off to the side and a COLD piece of Swiss cheese laying on top. When the person who delivered it asked if everything was ok and I pointed it out she took it back and in just a couple minutes brought it back and the cheese was melted slightly. The entire thing was lukewarm but by this time I just wanted to eat and go home. Very disappointing overall with the one bright spot– the potato chips.

In town for training. This was down the street from the hotel.
To start, great for the ego. I ordered a beer and they carded me. That hasn’t happened in a long time.
To start I ordered a cup of chili. It was really good. Not to spicy, but very good. Next up was the grilled salmon taco. It was very good. The tortilla was perfect. The flavor was good and the salmon was cooked great. Odd to have the salsa on the outside of the tortilla though.
Overall I would totally recommend it.

This is the spot when in Oak Ridge, TN. Beautiful atmosphere awesome service and every dish looks picture ready. The chicken fried chicken is as it should be… Delisioso!

Great experience! The décor and environment were quite nice, and the food was moderately priced. Our server Tevin was on top of it, the food was great, and came quickly. I had the BBQ pulled pork platter from their house specialties section, and it was delicious. Atop a buttered alice of Texas toast, it was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Upon other Unilocalers’ recommendations, I tried the thickly-​sliced potato chips– they were unique and tasty. If you’re ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

Great place that was perfectly located near the hotel I was staying. Folks there seemed like they were regulars and servers were all friendly. The meatloaf was delicious, bur I would go back just for the friendly atmosphere. It was nice to he in a place which makes you feel comfortable when you are away from home.

Nice atmosphere here. The best surprise is how they’ve enclosed the bar area with glass so diners don’t have to inhale smoke from the bar. So as for the food… The tomato soup, salad, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their food but me
I ordered the Boston Scrod (cod), with wild rice. My fish totally lacked any seasoning, I ended up sending it back. The rice was under seasoned as well. My husband had the fried chicken breast, he thought it was okay but I thought it could be better. In my opinion, the entrees overall just needs more seasoning. Check it out though, you may have better luck. The people in the community seem to love this place.

It’s been a while since I had an update for Aubrey’s, so why not. This time around I got to try out their lunch hour as one of my coworkers was planning to leave the job. I remember the last time I got a meal here consisted of a mushroom burger, which wasn’t bad in my opinion. (Check the review)
This time around though I decided to go with their Basil Tomato Pasta, and well I wasn’t neither amazed by it nor disappointed. I was not disappointed in the fact that the food/​dish itself was edible. The amazement factor wasn’t there that made me want to come back and eat more at Aubreys or try their different dishes.
Now, the dish itself, the tomatoes seemed to have too much sodium as if it came straight out of a can. (This wouldn’t surprise me as their whole decoration are based on canned goods) And well, the fresh basil to me didn’t really scream out «Fresh.» It was just a bit of sprinkled basil (maybe dried too?) on top of the pasta.
Now, the service was of course amazing as always, which accounts for my 3 stars. I think that’s the one thing that I don’t mind about going back to Aubrey’s because I always get treated well. Sometimes it feels as if that the service is what keeps Aubrey’s as a choice for me.
