Several friends recommended Emily as a wedding photographer and I’m sorry to say I was very disappointed in her work. I emphasized candid shots over posed shots and thought we were on the same page. The only shot of me getting ready has my sister and the tip of my moms nose. How hard is it to ask the mother of the bride to move in a little or just back up and take the picture? The shots of my dress are terrible, the one I took with my I phone was better. My husband dipped me three times throughout the evening, one of which was at the end of our dance and she didn’t get a single one. The pictures of my husband and I look awkward, if a pose didn’t look natural she didn’t try something else. There’s about two of my husband and I that are really well done with appropriate lighting. I’m sure Emily is a nice person but I wouldn’t trust her with some of the most important memories of your life. I don’t feel as though she«captured» the evening at all. There was also another photographer with her that I assumed would be where Emily wasn’t, for example taking pictures of the groom getting ready… again, we have only the pic my husband took with his phone.
