I ordered food for delivery from here to be sent to Dominican University which is only about 5 minutes away. The food was late so I called the restaurant twice to find out what was taking so long, the first time I was told it would be 6 minutes, the second time I was told the driver was stuck in traffic. There is no way you could be stuck in traffic for over an hour in the distance I am from the restaurant. My food arrive cold, soggy and inedible. The entire experience dealing with this restaurant was horrible and I will never order from here again.

I’ve ordered from Slice Factory several times, and I’ll say the food has been consistent, and is always pretty good. Service is another story. For a company that advertises«super fast delivery» with no visible fine print, they sure like to take their time in getting orders out. Quickest delivery I’ve experienced was right at an hour, with some orders taking upwards of two. Pick-up option wasn’t much better after showing up 10 minutes past the pick-up time and had to wait another 20 minutes before the food was ready.

We went slice factory on june 27th Saturday afternoon around 5:50 pm. It was something odd all over as their while operation but we really had a bad experience. To start with we like to have 3 slice factory meat lovers and the register person said has only one left it would take 20 minutes waiting time for to have more. We decided to wait but we do like to pay in advance. The register person said having 14″ instead will take no longer than 12 minutes and slice factory one is 30 «and will take longer. It does not make lots of sense right? I am eager to learn from an expert how the size of pizza affects the cooking time, help me out please. We did not want to discourage her and we had time limitation we said okay to that offer and get 14» and told her that we are going to be back in 12 minutes. After 12 minutes when we go back out pizza was not ready, as a matter of fact our pizza was ready about 27 minutes not 12 minutes. While we are waiting we saw the both cooks while they bake and either of them waa not using gloves or apron, they were pressing the dough over their own shirts and it was not looking professional, we thought it is just a bad day for them and we just want to take our pizza and go yet we cant help notice the 2 ladies on register go to back and touch to pizza in the back area where they cook the pizza without putting gloves and/or washing hands after being in register and touching the credit cards and money. We lost out appetite but we decided to not to waste more time by going somewhere else so we kept waiting. We notice that piece of cotton layed on the slice of pizza on display area and nobody in staff was checking it instead they were going back without washing their hands and warming up the other slices that was in display over and over the irony was almost all displace was empty so they were going back and fort to warm 4 slice of pizza constantly and 2 slice with feather thing on the top was not catching their attention at all We decided to buy some water meanwhile and we had 4 bottle of water, they offer 2 of the bottle on the house because of in convince. How kind they are right, it is not right because we are shocked to see just before they hide one 30 «meat lover ready pizza on the side and it was ready at least 10 minutes before than we got our pizza so we will not see it until we get our own pizza and left in the hold on purpose. We are very disappointed to see how they handle their own chaos, we notice that deliveries were going to wrong places as well, delivery people were busy on texting all the time while we were waiting. Overall i just want to write this to see if you try to fool people you should get ready with consequences. Bad way of managing operation and handling customer satisfaction for sure

New York Style Slices made relatively fresh You walk in, you pick your slice from underneath the warmer, they through it in the oven, cut it the way you want it, and you leave with a giant piece of pizza in a slice shaped box. Boom. They have meat lovers that is mind blowing and heart attack inducing, They also have different varieties for those looking for a more adventurous experience. I wish they had seating but this location does not. Not sure about the others.

I had the Primavera slice and it was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had — and I’m not one to use that statement regularly. Maybe my regular trips to New York have spoiled me(not only is the dollar pizza fresh, it’s literally $ 1), but if I’m going to shell out $ 5 for a slice, I would at least expect it to be fresh and the slice I had tasted like it had been sitting out for more than a while. The sauce was terrible as well; it was too acidic and metallic tasting. Pizza sauce isn’t difficult to make so maybe they can give it a shot. I’m going to try a cheese or pepperoni slice to see if it will alter my view so stay tuned. I gave them 2 stars because the service is good and it’s super clean inside…

My 14-year-old daughter accidentally gave the driver a $ 14 tip while she was babysitting. When I called later that night to let them know that it was a mistake, and that I was upset that the driver knowingly took $ 14 and didn’t say anything to her before accepting it, sylvana spoke to the manager and said she would call me the next day after she spoke to the driver. I did not receive a call the next day. When I called the day after that the person on the phone told me that the manager would not be able to do anything because their driver said he told my daughter she was giving him $ 14 and she agreed. When I told him his driver was being dishonest he said there’s nothing we can do for you. I was really upset that the manager didn’t step in to help rectify the situation in anyway. He didn’t even take the time to speak to me. Maybe a discount on our next order? A coupon? Nothing but an insincere apology. When your driver takes advantage of a 14-year-old patron it’s time to have a talk with them. Very disappointed in the unprofessional and callous attitude of the management here. If this were my business I would give my customer the 10 bucks, apologize profusely, and beg them to give us another chance. I suppose they don’t really need my business.

Food is good but it takes forever to get it! We have tried in the store and they are always out of what we want and it takes 20 – 40 minutes for them to finish cooking a pizza. We then tried ordering ahead online(for slices) and when we arrived after waiting 30 minutes they said another 20 minutes for what was supposed to be done after 30.

I stumbled upon Slice Factory a few days ago and it was everything I expected it to be from a place that advertises giant slices. When you first walk-in you’ll notice that the restaurant is setup to accommodate dining out only. They do not offer any sitting which can be inconvenient if you’re tired from a long day. The size of the pizza isn’t small enough to eat on the go but the staff member that prepared my pizza was friendly and cut my slice into squares so I could eat the pizza on the go. I wasn’t mentally prepared for the size of the pizza slices. Slice Factory offers a wide range of pizza toppings that would accommodate the most strictest vegetarian to the biggest carnivore you know. The slices looked amazing but there were a few slices that looked stale and crusty. As someone that eats a lot of pizza I know how easy it is for a restaurant to focus on the size/quantity of pizza over the taste and quality of the pizza. Slice Factory has managed to offer large proportions while not straying too far from the quality. I would recommend checking out Slice Factory at least once because for roughly $ 5 you can get a giant slice that is fairly tasty.

After a long hiatus, back here, glad to be and in review writing form. Slice Factory does a great job-major domo portions, great taste and flavor, and really an economical fast meal option. Key is to maintain perspective-they are not California Pizza Kitchen, not Giordanos. Thin crust pizza and sandwiches done fast and well, and serve a family of 5 for less than $ 20. As long as you are willing to take out, or sit on the floor, lol. And thank you for slicing the pizza so I could eat it standing up. You may want to widen the window sills a bit so it is easier to set your drink down while standing and eating. Lol. Nice job Slice Factory-you earned my business! Now off to the gym again… at least 45 minutes to work off the carbs… another great Chicago, née Oak Park experience.

Second time eating here & my last… Damn blonde bitch dropped the tongs in front of me & still used them to put my pizza in the box without washing them or grabbing new ones… gross! I asked if she was gonna wash the tongs or give me different slice, she says«Oh the floor is clean, don’t worry» … I said, «Bitch just drop my whole pizza on floor n serve it to me while you’re at it» lol I blew that joint quick I liked how big & tasty the slice was the first time I went, just hate how half of it gets stuck to they’re stupid triangle shaped boxes Also don’t like how this location has no where to sit, like they expect me to eat that bigass pizza on the go or something, they chose a horrible location

Great thin crust pizza with tangy sauce! Like everyone else said, the slices are huge and one slice can feed two people. The only complaint I have is that the pizza isn’t hot by the time I get home, only warm. Next time I will ask them to keep it in the oven for a few extra minutes and hopefully that will resolve my issue. Either way, for the price and amount of good pizza you get, I’ll keep coming back.

My first experience here wasnt great. The pizza was not flavorful at all. No seasoning and the sauce wasn’t cooked. Maybe a bad day.

This is a good pizza by the slice option in the area now that Leona’s has closed its doors. Prices are very reasonable and service is pretty quick in that you could order online or by phone and simply pay, pick up and go. Other distinguishable attributes: — super crispy thin crust — several vegetarian options — slices are warmed — the slices are huge but can be sliced into smaller pieces — super close to the Oak Park Metra & «EL» station. Less desirable aspects: — the worse buffalo wings ever(I would not eat them if they were free) — it is carry out only with limited standing room. — slice offerings are limited after 7p on a weekday.

I wish I could give this place no stars! I ordered the sausage and cheese pizza slice and it was horrible! It was way too saucy abs the cheese tastes like rubber! What a waste of money and Friday night treat!!! Will never ever go back!

I went here at 9:30 pm and they said they were closed despite having 9 different slices of pizza out and visible and all the lights on. What an awfully run business especially for a place that is just starting out. I wish I could give this place half a star.

The slices here are huge, delicious, and under $ 6. It’s more than enough food for two adults. If you’re looking for thicker crust and a more herby sauce, this isn’t the place for you. But if you like thin crust and more tomato flavored sauce, look no further! The cheese fries and nutella bites are great. Their beef sandwiches are huge, and almost hard to finish in one sitting. I definitely recommend this place!

The pizza was way too saucy, they didn’t give me cheese with my order of cheese fries, the service wasn’t the best The slice of pizza was generous but that’s the best thing I can say Lots of room for improvement

We had them deliver to our house via GrubHub. Two jumbo slices, boneless wings, and some fries. The slices are enormous. I’m very happy we didn’t order an entire pizza. The crust is thin and has a good level of crispiness. I liked the sauce a lot, not overwhelming in flavor or quantity, but was a good tomato flavor and not too sweet. The cheese was nothing out of the ordinary, but was cooked well and had some nice browning. The boneless wings were surprisingly good, I would try them again. If anything, I could say that they were a little heavy on the breading. Also surprisingly good were the fries. Delivery fries usually suck, but these arrived hot and still pretty fresh. Perhaps I should thank the driver for that! Another nice perk was that they included the ketchup containers that you can actually dip in. All in all, pretty good delivery pizza and at a decent price. I’m sure we’ll order again.

The slice is huge and flat out loaded with cheese and toppings. Was dubious about the crust but turned out to have a nice crunch and not too dough for the size. I’ll definitely be back
Ordered the meat lovers but was given wrong Alice(peperoni and veggie) but slice was still good to me
One Slice is more than enough for two hungry adults
