We had blinds installed by Royal Crest a couple of months after moving into our home. Working with Mark at Royal Crest was easy, pleasurable, and worth the money. To provide a little background: my wife and I considered doing this on our own or having a contractor install blinds that we ordered from Home Depot. The latter proved difficult because Home Depot informed our contractor that some of our window dimensions, as measured by the contractor, wouldn’t work with the blinds we selected and that we’d need to start the process over or adjust our selections. This was after we’d already spent two hours at Home Depot making our selections. I called the store and the representative told me that there were five customers at his desk waiting for service and I needed to tell him exactly what I wanted to order. It was clear that I wasn’t going to get much support this way. I did a little more research with other ordering options, such as , but they all required dimensions for all the windows. Now for the record, let me state that I know how to use a measuring tape. And I made the basic measurements for the windows and priced out blinds. However, our house is old and there are a variety of window styles. I was unsure how all of the little details would work out with the variety of blind options. I was not looking forward to more measurements, self installation, and possible exchanges because the fit turned out wrong. The process can be quite time consuming and this was not the only house project we were managing at the time. Now, enter Mark at Royal Crest. As soon as I spoke with him on the phone, the process became easier. He worked with our schedule to set up a time after work to meet with us. We met as this showroom and then drove from there to our house. He made final recommendations and then he made all of the measurements. He sent us a complete estimate the next day. He then worked with us to lower the cost by adjusting some of the blind options on certain windows. Then within a couple of weeks, the blinds arrived and his crew installed them in a couple of hours, cleaned up all the packaging and disposed of our old blinds. It was super easy and we are very happy with the quality of the blinds. As a bonus, Mark found us a rebate to use on the product that we ordered! While the cost of this route is more expensive than doing it all on your own, we are really happy we did this through Royal Crest. The product cost was comparable to the estimates I found at and the customer service was well worth the money. I’d recommend Mark and Royal Crest in a heart beat.
