My favorite chinese place in Chicago. For some reason, no other place is like it so I drive all the way here from BURBANK sometimes.

This place always takes forever and the service is bad but the food is pretty good! I’ve ordered from here a few times and usually am pretty satisfied. I wish there was better Chinese in OP.

All I can say is I love their food however the female(over the phone) is not as familiar with the menu as the guy(s) who are there all the time. I recently placed an order for delivery and she did not know which item had the«wide noodles». I was disappointed with her lack of knowledge but I always like the food.

My fave Chinese spot in Oak Park! They should hook up with GrubHub for online delivery.

I still can’t find a good Chinese Restayrant in Oak Park. I did try fry rice, lo main. They were below average. Egg drop soup is disgusting. My advice Is get peptobismol at home before u order. restaurant last night.

The food is generally good but I’m currently on about 75 minutes waiting for an order to be delivered that I was told would be 45 minutes. I’ve been ordering from them for 15 years and this is a disappointing showing for what has been until now my go-to Chinese food joint.

Lightening fast delivery(we live only a few blocks away though). My fiancé and I have lived in Oak Park for 13 months and never noticed this little hole in the wall until we moved to Lake St. We have been disappointed by the Chinese food available in Oak Park, but this place was amazing! We ordered crab rangoon, egg rolls and beef pepper. It was fresh and delish!

This has been our go-to place for years. Food is consistantly good. Haven’t had a bad dish yet. Love the House Special Fried Rice. Call ahead.

My family & I live two blocks away and consider ourselves really lucky. This ranks among the best Chinese we’ve eaten, and this includes in Chinatowns of various cities in the US and in Hong Kong. Our usual order is vegetable soup, Szechuan tofu, & orange chicken. Highly recommend.

Love this place. Very reasonable prices and excellent sweet and sour chixcken and egg rolls. I wish they had dine-in

Been coming here for 8 years off and on. I don’t do much different beyond straight small beef fried rice and 2 egg rolls. That’s it. I do nothing else. And it’s good. Sometimes they cut the beef a little bigger than i like. And sometimes I feel that there’s not enough egg. So I’ll say, could you cut the beef a little smaller, or add a little more egg? And the nice dude always nods, and writes something on the order sheet that I, of course, can’t read. And then it always comes out the exact same way. So. There’s that. But it’s always pretty much what I want when I want beef fried rice and two egg rolls. It always takes about 10 minutes. And it’s 2 blocks from home. Predictable. But good.

This place is awesome. We’ve been ordering from here at least once a week since moving to the neighborhood and the food has been consistently yummy. I just realized how dangerous this is. Oh well. Call ahead, they’ll have it ready in 15 – 20. Closed on Sundays, unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately – for us, anyway.

This has been our go-to Chinese restaurant for a few years. We always call ahead and come in to pick up, so I can’t review their delivery. Service: Friendly! Food: Not bad but not awesome. I’d say decent. Egg rolls are not the best, but chicken wings are great. Crab rangoon is good. Beef is great(very tender). Sweet and sour dishes are fried well(not over cooked, not under cooked.) Noodle dishes are good, especially lo mein and flat noodles. You always get a very generous helping. They pack everything well. They accept credit cards with a minimum purchase, but I don’t remember how much(maybe $ 10 or $ 15?) Oh, and lunch specials are a terrific deal!

I stopped here on my way home from work one night and I ordered the sesame chicken… pretty basic right? I got home and ate three bites and threw it away. The chicken was slimy, and not cooked thoroughly. It had no flavor and there were hard chunks of something(cartilage? ewwww). The rice was also undercooked and was crunchy. It was very cheap so I was glad I didn’t waste too much money, but I will never return.

I highly recommend King Chop Suey! I am addicted to their Seafood Fried Rice. The food is good, but call ahead it takes a while for them to prepare the dishes. The chicken is good, but I suggest you ask for it «well done». All of their dishes have a good flavor. The Egg Foo Young is good. The portions are large and priced reasonably.
