My daughter takes the 3 year old dance movement class on Saturday mornings at the Harrison street location. She loves it! She can’t wait to go to class every week. As soon as we get home she’s practicing her new moves. Mariannell has great rapport with the kids.

My son dances and really loves this place. We have taken clases at the Oak Park and the Forest Park locationl. The owner is accommodating and always asking what types of classes our children would be interested in. I love that there are class options 7 days a week with a variety of teachers. This is a great place to learn to dance that is not pretentious or stuffy — it makes kids really fall in love with movement.

Saw the Nutty Nutcracker this weekend and you’ve done a marvelous job with those kids. I’m so thrilled for you that in these short years you have built the studio from nothing into something quite amazing and wonderful! Good for you! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show! My favorite part was you putting the mittens on «Arabian» — still laughing!

My 3 year old son loves the school. It’s the first organized activity that he has requested to go back to every week. It’s also great in the winter since they seem to burn a ton of energy in the class. Location is great – I can shop around while he is in class.

This newish dance studio is a nice addition to the artsy atmosphere on Harrison Street. If you want traditional ballet or jazz, head over to the Academy of Movement and Music, this has a more«alternative» feel to it. My daughter takes a Jazz/Hip-Hop class that she really enjoys. I was a ballet girl, so I feel like her instruction is better preparation for the high school drill team than the concert stage, but that is just me being an old fuddy-duddy. You can drop in and pay for one class, or sign up for a series. A nice variety of classes for children, teens and adults — In addition to jazz/hip-hop there is also ballet, tap, yoga and even belly dance(try it, it’s fun). The space is small, but well-lit and airy. The mirrors are spaced panels and not the wall-to-wall type, so watching yourself and the instructor can be tricky if you aren’t properly situated in the room.
