Never disappoints and staff is very accommodating. The food and menu selections have always been spot on not to mention just delicious. Nice bar ambiance and great mixed crowd.

Bottom line : Hire these guys. Don’t even stop to think. Looked at wedding caterers all over the city and suburbs and«TwoMayToz»(catering division of Cucina Paradiso) was our unanimous choice. Nobody else had the kind of quality they offered at that kind of a price. That’s not to say they’re cheap. They’re not. But in comparison to all the other companies we approached TwoMayToz had the most reasonable price… for what you get. And what we got made all the difference. Anthony and Tricia don’t offer«wedding food». It’s a whole lot better than that. If we heard it once we heard it a hundred times,“That was the best catered food I’ve ever had”. And not only did we hear it back then, it’s a month later and we’re still hearing it. Every course was more delicious than the next and blew away the assumption that mass-produced food can’t stand up to what happens in a fine restaurant. (Won’t give you specifics on our order [it’s all too subjective] except to mention that our dishes included meat, pasta, a vegetable, and dessert served«family-style). Beyond the food quality Tricia’s organization of the night was spot-on and just as impressive was her flexibility with the numerous changes and tweaks we made throughout the process(having produced similar events myself I know we weren’t «easy»…). TwoMayToz did everything they said they would. And then exceeded our expectations. Don’t take our word for it though. This i-s Unilocal. Go see for yourself. Try the restaurant some night. You’ll see what we mean.

Cucina Paradiso never disappoints. Every item on the menu is always delicious and perfectly prepared. Whether in the mood for a specialty pizza that will remind you of Tuscany, a salad filled with a variety of ingredients, or a big bowl of pasta, Cucina is the place. There are specials each night. Service is always attentive. The new frequent diners program rewards regulars, which is a nice bonus.

Wow what a dining experience. Know now that it is a bit on the pricey side but if your looking for a date spot this is it. The atmosphere is great the food is delicious and the serving staff is excellent. The only problem is the delicious smells coming from other table are going to make your doubt your own ordering decision.

A lovely way to end a great day with delicious food. We ordered a number of dishes Calamari Abruzzi, Risotto, Linguine Marinara, Whitefish(special) and Chicken Pistachio accompanied with glasses of Syrah’s.

I really enjoyed our dinner here. We were lucky to get a table at the bar as we arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday and had no reservation. Service was great, and the food was really tasty. Would go back for sure. Loved the red wine in the risotto. Great change from the norm.

Waiting staff was very good, place looked nice. Small and not much area to wait for the rest of your group to arrive. Food presentation was nice. Flavor just ok.

the food was fine. it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. it was expensive for being slightly below good. i had the sunday soup which was a lobster bisque. having had their food on previous occasions, i would have thought that they’d use fresh ingredients. instead, the lobster did not taste like lobster and had the texture of canned tuna. the soup flavoring was decent, but not enough to make up for the tough texture of canned lobster. my penne arrosto was decent. i liked the sausage and pasta, but nothing i’d write home about. we had the tiramisu for dessert, but everybody at the table was pretty confident that they used cool whip in place of the marscapone. this doesn’t have to do with food, but with the service– and this will probably make me sound like a dick, but whatever. the buffoon of a server kept reaching across me to get to my plates/glasses. i would probably not have noticed except that i was trying to have a conversation and this dude’s arm kept crossing in front of me at least 5 times throughout dinner which got really annoying. it’s too bad because they did a good job catering my wedding.

Cucina Paradiso… Lovely classy Italian restaurant in Oak Park. Delicious food, friendly staff. Jason, our server, was especially attentive. It’s a place you’ll want to go again with everyone you know.

I had a very nice experience. The waitress was very attentive and recommended we try the $ 20 three course meal(in honor of their 20th anniversary). That was a great idea! We were able to spend more on drinks. I had the Pear martini and I did enjoy it. The appetizers and entrees were both delicious and large portions. We were so full by dessert we took it to go. We had the bacon wrapped dates and rustic salad to start. I liked them both but felt the salad was a bit overdressed. I had the Pork shoulder pappardelle and my husband had the beef medallions. I recommend both. For dessert we had the bread pudding and tiramisu. Definitely try the bread pudding. I will go back and also tell my friends about it.

We love the food and the service. This is and has been one of our favorite restaurants. I went to the web site to tell them about my problem but they did not have an option to «email us» instead only an option to post it on the internet. So here it is: A few months ago they had a promotion. It said«Buy this plastic card for $ 25 and every time you come in you earn „points“. But the next time you come in we will credit you with the $ 25.» Okay. So I will get some«points» in another club. Whenever I fly a new airline I join their«club». Whenever I stay at a new hotel, I join their«club». So I have a lot of useless«points». Today we had dinner at Cucina and I gave them my card. At first the guy at the desk said, «OK we can do this.» Then, after he poked the computer a few times he said, «No it won’t work. Next time you come in.» I don’t know if I will ever get my $ 25 back. But the food is good. The service is good. So we will go back to Cucina. But I would advise against buying a plastic card from them.

My husband and I used Cucina Paradiso aka TwoMaytoz catering for our wedding on 9÷4÷15 at the Bridgeport Art Center and they did an incredible job! I would highly recommend them. My husband worked at successful Italian and Mexican restaurants for a while so he can be critical of food. However, the food was delicious at the tasting and even better at the wedding. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Additionally, Tricia Galas, the event coordinator for TwoMayToz was awesome to work with throughout the whole process. She was so friendly and really put us at ease. We asked her to write us a few different proposals and floor plans and Tricia always sent them very promptly. She was so helpful and we never felt pressured to make a decision. We were actually in between a couple different caterers but the food along with Tricia’s professionalism and kindness convinced us to go with TwoMayToz and I’m so happy we did.

Cucina Paradiso, otherwise known as Twomaytoz catering when they’re wearing that hat, provided the food and bar for our wedding. They gave us great service from the start; Tricia is a consummate professional, and she walked us through everything we needed to take care of. It was definitely a low stress process, which I appreciated! We had a few guests with dietary restrictions, and they did a great job accommodating them with special dishes. The food was very good; we’ve been getting compliments on it from many of the guests. The chicken in particular was moist and delicious, which is not always the case with catered food. We had a late night snack during the reception at about 10:30, and I highly recommend doing that. It provided a much-needed energy boost to keep us on the dance floor! In summary, everything was delicious, it all went off without a hitch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The atmosphere is really nice but the food was very dry and cold that’s all I have to say about this place oh and another thing you need to lower your price is a little bit more, and to tell you to truth this is nowhere near a good Italian restaurant being half Italian and Mexican I Kinda know how Italian food really supposed to taste like

We have been dining here for years. All the food is delicious. My favorites are the pizzas(pear!) and pastas. They also have an array of tasty appetizers-dates, calamari, brussel sprouts… The service is always fantastic, and on the Monday we dined, they had ½ price bottles of wine! Love this place!

Cucina Paradiso catered our wedding reception at the 19th Century Club on May 12, 2012 in Oak Park. The appetizers, entrees and drinks were perfect! We have gotten so many compliments on the amazing food and the service. Anthony is great, very professional. We had a taste testing reservation at the restaurant so we could decide on the appetizers and the entrees. My husband was the one that noticed that Anthony and his staff were super busy making sure the food was ready and hot to serve to our guests. Anthony is an expert, he has worked with 19th Century many, many times so he knows what has to happen and he gets it done. The staff was amazing at serving almost 200 guest super quickly and the drink service was perfect! I felt that the guests got their fill of delicious food and the drinks of their choice. We came back last week and will be coming back to the restaurant more often because we are moving closer. My friend and I had brussel sprouts and bacon wrapped dates to start off. I had the rigatoni spinaci and I ordered penne arosto to go(for my husband). The best drink(in my opinion) is the blood orange mint. I really wanted to get some dessert but we were stuffed when dinner was over. The server was very polite, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. There is plenty of parking on North Blvd. avenue. The restaurant opens for service at 5:00 pm every day. Make a reservation because the restaurant is incredibly busy!

I’ve been to Cucina Paradiso a few times and have always had a good meal. The wine selection is really good. The food is tasty as well though nothing that stands out in my mind. I should probably also say that going out for Italian is not one of my top choices when choosing a restaurant. The only negative — or maybe it’s neither here nor there with the invention of ‘doggie bags’ — is that the portion sizes are way too big! The staff is friendly and attentive and the service is decent.

I was in town to visit family, and we came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday; it was pretty busy on a Sunday evening at 6PM so We were glad we had reservations! The patio outside was totally full so we took a table inside. It was a little warm in the restaurant, but not too bad. I could definitely see why eating outside was the preferred option though since it was a nice night. The salad choices include some interesting combinations; it was hard to choose! I had the red beet salad and was not disappointed. Beets, oranges and a mint dressing on fresh greens made for a tasty start to the meal! I the had the pear pizza which was excellent! It is quite rich and filling so could have easily served two. I took the other half home and had an easy dinner Monday night! Others had fish and pasta entrees they enjoyed a great deal as well. For dessert I had the bread pudding with house made gelato. This is a decadent caramel covered treat. It had no raisins, so anyone who is averse to this usual bread pudding ingredient can enjoy! I think this would definitely have been a shareable dessert, but somehow managed to finish almost of it myself. Service was good, except the water glasses and carafe were taken away before dessert; a little odd, but then we probably could have asked for them to leave these items if we were paying more attention, but we were distracted by conversation and only realized the water was cleared with the dinner plates after it was gone. Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back next time I’m in town!

Can’t hate on the burbs. Met up with one of my friends that lives in a place far, far away, aka the southwest burbs. I’m a little lazy to venture out of the city when I’m not visiting family. So when my friend said she missed me, I said«let’s do Oak Park!» the least burby burb, IMO. I made sat night resos to Cucina which happened to be a possible food vendor when I played with the idea of having an Oak Park wedding. Looking back at the many mess-ups my Loyola wedding had, maybe I should’ve done it at Oak Park. I digress. We were seated immediately and the space was really cute. White table cloths and dark wood tables decorated the space but the funky art, big bar and large windows made it less stuffy. We ordered beers and I had a Washington Pinot Noir which was amaze. Between 4 people, including 2 mega hungry men, a preggo and yours truly, we shared a pear pizza, margarita pizza, rustic and fennel salads, crème brûlée, bread pudding and tiramisu. Pear pizza, both salads and bread pudding were off the chain! I don’t even like pears, but the pear pizza was the perfect balance of sweet, salty and doughy. Def my fav item that night. Servers didn’t rush us or make a big deal when my clumsy friend dropped her silverware a bunch of times. Her baby was kicking her or something. I would def make the stop to CP again, even if I’m not meeting someone halfway.
