Service has been a little slow lately but still a returning customer. I am not sure they are getting quality hires because one of the owners is usually taking orders.

This place is awesome. If I wasn’t watching my weight, I would eat here more often. Comparable to Five Guys, but better than Smashburger in my opinion. I live walking distance from Smashburger, but will drive to Mooyah instead.

Since we had a coupon for a free burger with the purchase of a burger, fries, and drink, my husband and I decided to see what this place was about. I noticed the coupons on the back of our Mariano’s receipts, but never redeemed them. We both had turkey burgers; his on a wheat bun and mine on iceberg lettuce. I’m generally not a fan of iceberg, because of the nonexistent nutritional value, but it was better than the bread option. Both burgers were delicious and we left satisfied. They are a bit on the pricy side, but it’s not a place that we’ll go to every other day. The staff were professional and service was swift. We’ll return in the not so far future.

I have driven by this place numerous times but I had a promotion coupon for buy 1 burger get 1 free… it reminded me of a smash burger type… talked with the owner who was super nice, friendly staff… if u download their app you also get a free burger… tried a few burgers and home cut fries were good… all in all… good burgers, fries, reasonable priced… worth a try

Today and my husband and I decided to try this restaurant because the other one close by had a 30 minute wait. I am so glad we did. We were able to customized our burgers and try the great house sauce to go along with it. I really appreciated the great customer service and the fact that since it was Teacher Appreciation Day I received my burger for free. I enjoyed the fresh cut crispy fries the most. I think next time we will have to try their shakes.

This place is so much more talked up then it deserves. It is so expensive for such a lake of quality and a thin THIS piece of meat. No flavor. Their sandwiches are thrown together with such bad presentation. I will never go back here and spend $ 20 on 2 burgers ONESMALL drink and 2SMALL fries. Please spend your money else where.

Tried this place out and got a Mooyah burger with cheddar and bbq. The burger had good flavor and was a pretty good size. I wouldn’t mind coming back again.

Moo-yeah! I was drawn into this restaurant through a promotion for a free burger. I pass by this restaurant all of the time, but I’m glad I finally gave it a try. I customized my burger with all sorts of deliciousness-onion strings, cheese, bacon, mooyah sauce, pickles, grilled onions, probably a lot more other deliciousness. I also ordered some fries and a drink. I am so glad I could pick a wheat bun for my burger. It was very tasty. The burger itself had a good flavor, and I thought the single patty was enough meat. The fries were okay, but I thought they were a little overcooked and dried out. You can pick Vitamin Water for unlimited refills, which I loved! My husband ordered a Oreo-type shake and it was very thick but good. I think the restaurant is very spacious and clean for a family burger joint. I also love the huge chalkboard on the wall that both kids and adults can have fun with. Service was friendly and quick. You can also download the Mooyah app on your phone to earn a $ 10 reward for every $ 100 you spend. You can also get points by referring others to Mooyah. I’m almost close to my reward and I’ve only dined here once! Overall, it was a great experience for lunch and I will probably be back to try some other burger combinations.

Definetley a FRESH Patty, but has to be a double to taste any meat. Fresh cut fries are great and my kids love the shakes there! Sometimes it just feels a bit greasy, like it gets to the bun as well. For those that don’t know… — They’re Flat-Top Cooked Burgers — Fresh Cut Crispy Fries(Sweet Potato Fries are pretty good as well) — Great Shakes — Great Toppings — Awesome in-house baked bread

With so many burgers places to hit in this area I’m not inclined to have expectations from any of them. That said Mooyah moved in near our office so the hubs and I decided to give it a try this week. Hanging in the window upon arrival were big posters advertising their turkey and black bean burgers, both better for you and both looked delicious. I’m a big fan of veggie and black bean burgers so I have to admit I was very disappointed to find out the the black bean burger is a no name frozen patty and the turkey burger is Jenny-O. I found this to be false advertising. Don’t post beautiful pictures to make something look homemade and delicious if it’s not going to be. Based on this information I ordered a good olé fashion cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onion, mayo & ketchup — so much for being healthy! The burger was really, really good. Because I ordered a not so healthy cheeseburger I decided to substitute fries with a side salad. Not THAT impressed me. This was the best side salad I have ever seen come out of a fast food joint. They use fresh spring lettuce, not cheap old iceburg, big fresh mushrooms and tomatoes and a yummy honey mustard dressing(you have several choices). All in all I would definitely recommend Mooyah as a good choice for a fast food burger. The service was fast and friendly, the place was clean(including the bathroom) and most importantly the burger had great flavor and the side salad was a great portion and a pleasant surprise!

What an experience!!! I stopped in for lunch meeting with a client and we couldn’t stop complimenting the tastiness of the burgers. I got a Mooyah burger and boy was it delicious. The sweet potato fries are a must try, and for all you vegetarians out there they have veggie burgers too. I was tempted to eat another burger but boy I was full. I must say that Mooyah has the most delicious burger in Illinois I would put them over epic burger, five guys(they fry bacon with their fries eww), meatheads(way over priced), and the list goes on. Ingredients were fresh service was fast I even had food delivered to my table. This is a must try

This place just opened up in our neighborhood, virtually unknown name to me. I discovered they actually have a couple other locations. Cute place on first impression, the menu is basically you build it. Pick your burger– turkey, beef, veggie, and the pick your bun, toppings and sauces. I ordered a turkey burger with avocado, Lettuce, Tomatoe, pepper jack cheese and spicy ranch. It was EXCELLENT! My only qualm was that it was a little salty, but one half of it was less so, perhaps the seasoning was overdone on one side? My fiancée had a burger with bbq, onion strings and bacon, also delicious. We both had the sweet potato fries, very crunchy and flavored well. Total plus 2 drinks was $ 23.00, a little pricey but I suppose on par price wise with Smashburger or Portillos. I highly recommend this place if you like to customize your burger and choose from a wide variety of toppings and sauces.

I’m trying to visit all the new restaurants in the Oak Lawn area and this one has been on my list for awhile. We stopped in here on a Thursday night and it was very busy. We found out that they were doing a fundraiser for a local school. I thought that was nice, and if you’re looking for a way to fundraise, take note! We ordered burgers and fries and I liked that you can choose whatever toppings you wanted. I stuck with grilled onions, tomatoes, and lettuce but thought the tomatoes were a little off. I did like the fries but overall I thought the burger was too greasy. It even seeped into the bun and make that greasy too. Might give it another shot.

Walked in and was greeted and helped right away. Food came out amazing and the staff was really nice. Definitely worth checking out. I tried almost everything on the menu except a shake and I haven’t been disappointed one time. Will be back

Pretty good stuff… It’s been a while since I’ve written some reviews, but I feel like Mooyah needs reviews. So I love all the toppings you can get and it was nice to get extra mushrooms on my burger as I asked for. The burger itself was good, but not the best I’ve had. Mooyah sauce which is like big mac sauce in a way wasn’t very good and i’m glad that the cashier suggested it on the side. I’d say this place is more than just okay with the toppings provided and quality of the food so 4 stars for Mooyah.

Finally a delicious burger joint opens up in the south suburbs! I was driving by this restaurant and it was a new name to me so I decided to stop in and give this place a shot. I have to say this place definitely impressed me. I tried their mooyah burger with the moohay sauce. It was fresh and the best part about it was that it didn’t taste like a fast food burger! So I decided to come back for a second visit a week later and this time I tried their turkey burger. mmmmm not dry at all ! Very juicy and tender which surprised me. For dessert I tried their jelly donut shake and it was the lolllll ! If you’re a huge foodie like myself I highly recommend you try this place out.

Wow, this place puts 5 guys to shame. I would have posted a pic but ended up inhaling the food too quickly. Got a mooyah style burger no pickles. Amazing burger, generous portions of fries. I drove out from Orland Park and it was worth the mission. Will definitely be back.

I noticed someone had already noted in the reviews that there is no shortage of burger joints in the Oak Lawn area. We like to try everywhere at least once so we gave this a shot. I am happy to say that it is #1 in my books. I got the turkey burger on white bun w fries. They do have a lettuce wrap version and sweet potato fries also. I like when a restaurant gives a healthier option. The burger my husband had was perfect. Just perfect. So many choices on how to top it. Cooked to perfection and juicy. Fries are cut fresh!!! Not frozen. I will be back again and again! They advertise a jelly donut shake, not my kinda thing but I am curious to hear other reviews on this.
