Batteries Plus Bulbs

VERY poor service. Just went in and asked about pricing and size for my vehicle remote battery and when I indicated I didn’t know the size, I was told I’d have to pay $ 10 for them to open it to figure it out. I asked if I could just borrow a screwdriver to do it myself, and he said no. Guess I’ll go home and open it myself, then buy the battery on Amazon! They’ll be out of business in no time with that bozo working there.

I came out of class just to find that the battery in my key fob stopped working. Bummer. I pass this place on my way home and figured I’d stop in. For $ 10 they fixed changed my battery and I was out in less then ten minutes. Great service.

I like the fact that they have a program where you can purchase a battery and get a new one for life. I have been coming to get my batteries for my watch from them for at least 10 years and to me that is a good deal that you can pay once and keep coming back to get a new one for free when you need one. The only difference now compared to when I first started coming is that the lifetime price has when up 8 dollars but it is still a good deal.

I called, soon he answered phone he put me on hold for 5nhalf minutes y should I have to wait that long, just to ask a question. Rude employees there, I’ll be going to Radio Shack …

Uuuggghhhhh…I hate anything car trouble related, it just stresses me out. Well, my car was hesitating to start for a few days. The image of a new alternator, starter, battery, fuel pump — and the cost to go with all of that — danced in my head. Then I slowed my roll, and decided just to go get the battery tested before I’m imagining myself in the poor house.
Called Battery Plus to check their hours. The lady on the phone was so nice and explained that they are opened until 9pm, but if I needed a battery changed, I should get there by 7pm due to staffing. I was on my way.
I must say, I just assumed that this was a car battery place — never occurred to me that they sold a million different types of batteries — phones, watches, A, AA, AAA and so on. There were people pouring in to have watch batteries changed… which is what I plan to do on another visit. I must have 5 watches that need batteries — ca-​ching!
Anyway, I was helped as soon as I walked in. The guy came out and tested my battery in my ride — and said it was near dead… which actually made me happy. In 10 minutes, he had it changed out and I was checked out. He was just nice and friendly — and it was fcking hot out, and he wasn’t bitching (like I was about the heat).
Every single person that worked there — and there were probably 4 – 5 workers — were friendly and happy and helpful… and it wasn’t forced, it was honest good customer service.
