Teriyaki Time

Sushi was excellent! Loved the Oak Harbor Roll! Caribbean Roll was surprisingly good with mango and coconut! Eel roll was on point. Can’t wait to go back! Only a 4 because it looks a bit run down inside and my chair was sticky but food was amazing.

The food was excellent but the service was absolute trash.
First the positive: Without a doubt the food was excellent. Everything was seasoned just right and it was piping hot when it hit the table.
Now the negative: The associate manning the counter was literally reading a romance novel at the counter. It took her forever to realize that she had patrons waiting to be helped. She encouraged us to find a table that we liked… not a bad thing. The restaurant wasn’t busy but this was still fine.
However, once we were seated, we had to wait for more than 6 minutes for her to bring over menus and offer a drink. We placed the orders and asked for tea and water.
She brought the tea… we NEVER received our water. Ever.
It was a nice day outside but not nice enough to leave the doors open to the restaurant and have us fighting gnats/​fruit flies for the entire meal.
Long story short… order ahead and get take out. The food is worth it. The service isn’t. Skip the headache and get it and go.

Teriyaki chicken is Packaged nicely to go and delicious!
Beef yakisoba wasn’t beef yakisoba at all, but instead Chicken yakisoba,
Served too hot to eat and heavily overseasoned with over cooked pathetic limp vegetables.
⁴⁄₁₀ would not do again

Always cheerful staff. Best Asian (centers on Japanese but like most smaller places, serves an auxiliary blend of Asian cuisines, like Korean or Chinese) takeout I have had locally. Perfect to call in for lunch. I think they’re only hindrance to growth is the kind of tucked away location behind the Dunkin Donuts– on the Rite Aid /​Haggens (old Safeway location) strip. Really a great lunch place. Plates are very reasonably priced. Seems that it doesn’t matter what I order– all the plates I’ve gotten from here have been excellent.
