I really love their donuts, but that being said the place needs to be cleaned!!! Tables, chairs, serving trays and floors were just filthy today. Very disappointing.

I wish this place was healthy! Because it’s so great! This is always my husbands«surprise breakfast» on Sunday’s. We love all the doughnuts and brag about this place every chance we get! The doughnuts are HUGE. Even the glazed, it’s like two of the normal doughnuts you’re used to. Get a chocolate milk! Makes the doughnuts go well! They have a drive through but go inside and look at all the monster doughnuts they have!

We have gone here a few times now. Not overly impressed but also not disappointed. We have only gone in the evening and the selection has not been very wide and they are often a bit stale.

Great doughnuts. Somewhat spendy but well worth it. Great group of employees and excellent selection of you get there early. Expect to wait on Sunday morning but it is worth it.

The best and only place you should be buying donuts on the island! My favorite donut is a glazed buttermilk, have one right after they are put out after 10pm ish, you won’t want anything else! Sweet and dense. Of course the glazed raised are a good go too, and the crullers are soft and gone fast! Apple fritters the size of your face. Maple bacon bars are a big hit(not my cup of tea but try one!) blueberry cake donuts for something light & yummy. Oh! & the crumb glazed raised! Great texture. They also have espresso & drip coffee, Moka Joes. The girls who work there are awesome! Feel free to ask them suggestions on donuts. Friendly gals you could chat with for awhile, or a simple hello and smile if you’re in a rush. The shop is always clean, stocked, or if something is out they replace it right away.(Except donuts! They bake from 8:30pm to 5am) The best time to get your favorite donuts is while they are baking so you get them hot, or at least between 6−10am.

Donuts are overpriced. I had better. I get my sugar fix at safeway, the donuts are much cheaper.

Hands down the best doughnuts I’ve EVERHAD in my entire life. The taste and texture was like a KFC biscuit only 100x’s better… Thanks to the lonely chef on 11÷25÷1510:26 p.m. Who made my doughnut experience epic…

I really like this donut shop is very welcoming, very nice atmosphere, it’s like a Starbucks but better food quality and I like their coffee better.

I will start this off by saying this place makes the best donuts I have ever had and will likely ever have. You need to figure out the kitchen schedule and when the donuts you want will be fresh. Everything is prepared daily and is fantastic. Four stars because I have to adjust my schedule to the kitchen staff if I want killer donuts. Also a warm glazed blueberry cake donut is worth any obscene amount of schedule flipping.

Great service. Answered all our questions and then some. Amazing donuts… I think I found some better than Tim Hortons

This donut shop has the best tasting donuts and customer service on Whidbey Island, hands down. I went in and was instantly intrigued by the incredible selection that they had to offer. And when I wasn’t able to decide which donut I wanted, a wonderful employee recommended something for me that was off the chain! 10 out of 10.

Donut Master is a simply unbelievable gem in Oak Harbor. Being open 24⁄7 means that they can’t have a full fresh selection available at all times, but every donut is good here. The fresh ones are amazing, but certain ones in and of themselves are simply transcendent. These would be the old fashioneds and the buttermilks. When they’re fresh, they will absolutely murder you with how amazing they are(especially the maple and plain varieties, but glazed and chocolate are okay too). The buttermilks are really special: crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside with really delicate, slightly sour/sweet buttermilk flavor. I was on a week long vacation on Whidbey with friends and we went basically every day. Sometimes twice. It’s decadent. Despite the negative reviews here about the staff, I never had anything but a totally pleasant experience. Every person who retrieved donuts for me was kind and courteous. If you are ever on Whidbey, this is worth the trip.

We come here regularly when we are in town, but we have some pretty tried & true guidelines on what and how to order. First of all, the drive-thru is only open at certain hours of the day — something like 4−7pm — and is not«just for regulars.» Don’t expect it to be Jack In The Box because it’s not a fast food place, it’s a freaking donut shop. Secondly, the raised donuts here are not particularly special. Sorry, not sorry. Ordering only a raised donut, yes even the bacon one(«The Carrier,» which is amazing), would be a waste of Donut Masters’ insane talent. WHATTOORDER: Old Fashioned Donuts: These are potentially the best donuts in the state of Washington. Get one plain & unglazed and be amazed at how crunchy yet soft they are. The glazed old fashioned donuts are fantastic, and their maple glaze is very good. The chocolate is my least favorite, but is far from gross. Usually on the top shelf. Buttermilk Donuts: These are incredible, and when they’re warm, they’re completely mind-blowing. They look like a cross between a loaf of bread and a football. The plain glazed are my favorite, but I also like the unglazed. These are usually on the bottom right of the pastry case, above the buttermilk PIES which are different. Bowties: These are under-appreciated, and my dad’s favorite. These are fruit pastries folded over into a vague shape of a bowtie if bowties were square and oozing with cream cheese and raspberry, blueberry, or lemon filling. Kind of amazing. They hide in the bottom left corner of the display case. WHENTOGO: We usually come here at about 10pm and there are a good number of donuts. There’s no reliable algorithm to figure out when the donuts will be fresh, but 10pm and early morning seems to have a decent track record of full display cases. The basic cake donuts are usually the last to go, it seems. They are decent(particularly the chocolate cake donuts, not too sweet & very chocolatey) and come with a variety of toppings which makes them bountiful. The girls who work here are lovely. They give you donuts, they box them up in a cute pink box, and if you don’t demand things from them and treat them like servants, they’ll probably be kind to you. I’ve never had anything but a pleasant experience with Donut Masters employees, and I have definitely been here over 30 times. Additionally, they serve Moka Joe coffee here, which is organic and very, very local! Small businesses who support small businesses are the best. As far as price goes, these donuts would be marked up to easily $ 3/donut if it were anywhere NEAR Seattle, and $ 0.80-$ 2.15 is not a bad range, considering the higher end is the price for a donut the actual size of your head. Just saying, $ 30 for 24 of the best donuts in the state is very reasonable.

Best donuts I’ve had. Period. But the girls who work here have attitudes about everything and act like they’re doing the hardest job by getting you a donut. And they usually run out of donuts around 8pm. Just when you start craving one after dinner. They may be 24/7, but they don’t have product 24⁄7. And there won’t be any more for hours.

They have the best donuts ever! But the girls who work here have such huge attitudes and will sit at the table by the vending machines and gossip and talk about their drama very loudly while the person behind the counter ignores you when you approach her. And when you arrive, they expect you to know exactly what you want and will stare you down until you order. And they will give you attitude the whole way through. Not friendly service at all! I only come back for the donuts, they call my name!

The quality of the donuts are outstanding, I take my son here almost every weekend and we enjoy a few donuts. The cost of the donuts is a little high. I just got done paying $ 30 for two dozen donuts. Be careful, because they still charge per donut even when you’re buying a dozen or more donuts. Overall, they are really good, like I said just be careful about how many you buy and what you’re willing to spend. The girls that run the front counter are very friendly and nice.

Great selection of favorites, mine being the Almond Bear Claw, plain Old fashioned. Have visited this establishment since its opening day, always receiving friendly service. Being a true fan of all things bakery when it comes to Donuts they can give anyone a run for the money. 3.5 rating due to high end pricing, but worth the guilty pleasure.

Don’t get me wrong I adore and love these donuts as does my husband however note to clerks… When people have waited in line 10 to 15 minutes for their turn doesn’t mean that gives you the right to push one person ahead and ring them out first! I don’t care if you know the man we waited our time with a huge group of people in front of us and had to wait because they pushed a man ahead of us with a couple donuts. WRONG! We traveled from out of state to come here on vacation and he was clearly a local dressed in workman attire. Still doesn’t make it right

I love this place. We have a rule at work that when a person comes in late, they have to bring donuts for the office. I live for those days!!! Their cake donuts rock. I didn’t give 5 stars because their coffee always disappoints me.

The bacon maple bars are heavenly! Crispy, chopped bacon atop a wonderful maple bar. The bacon is crisp but just melts in your mouth. My only issue with this place is they leave the«HOTDONUTSSIGN» ON, even when there are NOHOTDONUTS. Down right annoying if you ask me. But other than that, they truly are Donut Masters. No one can dispute that.
