Battle Den

The guy was nice and helpful but dose not have hardly much in the way of magic the gathering! very few rares and hardly any boosters just the new expansion and modern masters. most shops have tons of expansion packs in my experience. really wish he get some stock in there. I be the first to buy! I normally spend about $ 100 every two weeks when I live in Tacoma and had several shops to choose from being out here in Oak Harbor really sucks seems like Walmarts or book rack is your best hope. But I still will check in to see if he will ever get his stock up «if you stock it they will come» I know I will!

Scott, the owner of the store is a huge 40K gamer and stocks an amazing variety of WarHammer 40,000 products including fully painted army’s, paints, textures, books, and much more. There are 3 or more 40K tables with great terrain to choose from and anyone is welcome to come down and play a game. The atmosphere is great for kids and adults alike and the only place on Whidbey Island where you can get a good competitive game in and have an amazing amount of fun doing so. They also have a Hordes/​WarMachine table and are starting a league soon that will progress through the weeks in difficulty and challenges and will includes incentives and prizes for participants. Battle Den also offers a slim selection of Magic the Gathering cards but is expanding that section soon so Magic Players come show your support! Tuesdays and fridays are Magic Tournaments and you can even catch a in prompt to booster draft at times with so many magic players here. Jimmy and Jeremy help out in the shop and are the life blood of the Battle Den. They are true gamers to every extent and understand all your gaming needs and will do what they can to accommodate. I have seen them first hand show their generosity for others by teaching them Magic to Hordes or even 40K. The three of these men have an extensive knowledge of rules and strategy needed to make a store like this survive. Their website in still under construction and right now they are closed Sunday Monday but if you stop by on those days i have found many times they are there in the evening and will open their door to satisfy your needs.
