Staff is friendly and willing to customize your drink exactly how you want it. Love the small business feel and the theme of the shop. Cool merchandise to buy too! The owner and his wife are hella cool, and there’s even a stamp card! Try the ‘bits and pieces’!

Love love love Zombie Coffee. The staff is always so nice and the coffee is always great. I normally get the Bits and Pieces(peanut butter mocha) or a vanilla iced coffee. Both always amazing. They have a punch card buy 10 get one free. Definitely recommend and will keep going back!

Zombie Coffee, «Waking the Dead.» I mean, could this possibly be anymore clever? I recently moved, and really missed my local Dutch Bros, as they got everyone in and out so fast. The other drive through places near Milwaukie left much to be desired, then I stumbled across this gem. The employees are super friendly, and helpful. The chocolate sauce is vegan, so I can enjoy my almond milk mochas. The espresso is on point(so many places overheat it and it tastes burnt), and the black coffee is good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but much better than Statbucks(bleck), and Dutch Bros. The location is perfect for me. Since the neighboring Park and Ride for the orange line fills up quick, I leave a little early, park in the lot, and walk over. The price is competitive, a bit lower than the other drive thrus in the area.

Have been a number of time, friendly staff and low prices. Unfortunately, the coffee simply is not very good. I’m guessing the specialty drinks may be better die to the amount of sugar to overwhelm the coffee flavor, so that would be your best bet.

Stopped by for the first time. Chose the drive thru closest to my new place. Awesome names for their drinks, big menu. Should have got the woman’s name, but she was awesome! She made an awesome caramel macchiato and the shots were bold and rich and didn’t taste burnt. Variety of things to choose from along with tons of food choices! And I got a punch card :)

The barista was friendly. The shop is bright colored, but other than that it does not draw you in. I ordered a «shots in the dark»(coffee with espresso shots) the coffee has a metallic and plastic taste to it. I was pretty disappointed and they charge $ 4.00 for it, which I probably wouldn’t have complained if the price was fair. Has anyone else tasted an odd taste in their coffee?

Great service, fast customer service. They have good looking people working there and they know just how to make my coffee. Try their coco hazelnut soy latte. They use half and half I think

So I avoided this place for a year because it seemed like a big gimmick. Slap some caution tape on a shanty on McLaughlin and you’ve got an instant gimmick. It kinda seemed like Voodoo Donut/Dawn of the Dead/Zombiepacolypse and I don’t know it just seemed like it was trying too hard. But. I’ve tried basically all the coffee shops in my neighborhood and wanted a quick drink before I grocery shopped. Reading the tips and reviews, I saw«Twinkie latte», good service and I was sold. I’ve also never seen a line here so I figured it’d be fast, unlike the last shack I tried. The barista(baristo?) working was so friendly and easy going, answered my questions(I’m not a connoisseur by any stretch) and the menu was interesting! Some stuff I’d never thought of, yes, w gimmicky names but my drink was fast, reasonably priced($ 3.50 for a 16 oz) and it was the best nonfat latte I’ve ever tasted. My card transaction was seamless and I had enough time to check in on Unilocal! I had the Double Tap. A vanilla latte w a caramel drizzle made w nonfat and iced. Man it was tasty. I have to give credit… zombie met and exceeded all my coffee expectations. Only wish is for white coffee. I’ll go back any time I’m looking for a quick sweet treat.

outstanding fast service and great product! now that they know me they have my drink ready before i have my money out. they even know both my vehicles by sight. when a business is run by an owner, you’ll almost always get a better experience.

Echoing previous reviews this place has great coffee and good customer service. The prices were much lower than what I expected and the coffee tasted great. The drinks all have cool names. If I lived in this area I would make this my regular coffee spot. Unfortunately, Mcloughlin is under construction which makes it kind of difficult to get into the parking lot where this shop is located but hopefully its completed soon.

This is my first visit to the Portland area in 4 years, and I must say that Zombie Coffee is a fantastic new addition to the area. With its tiny, drive-thru charm, the flavors are big and bold. Playing off of the movie Shaun of the Dead, all of the drinks have silly names. I got The Winchester, which is a delicious Irish Cream mocha. My husband got a cup of the regular coffee. The smallest size available was a 20oz! Thank goodness it’s strong and delicious. Next time I’ll either try the Brainzzz – a cherry mocha, or The Twinkie – banana, white chocolate, and whip. Coming from NYC, the prices are pretty great, and the service was super! The guy making our coffee was extremely friendly, and he made sure to give us some history on the shop and the drinks. I highly recommend that you«stagger through» the next time you’re in the neighborhood.
