This place has a really nice set up, it’s clean and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I love the bourbon selection but it could be better. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is their scotch selection being terrible but I can’t really knock them because people don’t drink scotch to get drunk. I also hate that they ID right when you come in the door, I’ve been in higher end liquor stores in over a dozen states and all over Kentucky and Tennessee and I’ve NEVER seen this practice, it’s not a club… chill out Legion. Other than that I dig this place, I will be returning.

I’m a huge beer connoisseur from the Midwest and recently came from Minneapolis, MN which was a beer lovers paradise. I’d be lying if I said the beer quality and selection is anywhere close to what it is in other parts of the country but Legion Liquors provides the best beer selection overall in the area.
Some places have more quantity but Legion has the best quality and they carry some really hard to get beers (seasonal/limited releases) such as Bourbon County line, Hopslam and KBS to name a few. Every time I message them via Facebook they are always timely with a response. Yes it’s annoying to show ID immediately upon walking in but the beer selection makes up for it.

Decent selection of liquor. It’s nice that they offer a taste of the booze of their choice.
Why the two stars? My mind is boggled by the kind of liquor store where you’re asked for your ID as soon as you walk in and your ID is scanned. Maybe next, they can hire an armed guard to pat you down when you walk through the doors. Oh yeah, they’re proud of what they sell too.
